Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar e modul berbasis peta konsep bergambar pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup ini didasarkan pada rendahnya penguasaan konsep peserta didik mengenai pengklasifikasian makhluk hidup beberapa faktor penyebabnya yaitu belum tersedianya e modul dilengkapi petakonsep dan gambar pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup sehingga peserta didik kesulitan dalam memahami konsep konsep materi yang terdapat pada buku cetak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan e- modul, kelayakan dan keefektifan bahan ajar berbasis peta konsep bergambar pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep peseta didik. Bahan ajar berbasis peta konsep bergambar pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup dikembangkan menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development dengan model pengembangan yang dikembangkan oleh borg and gall, yang disederhakan menjadi 7 tahapan, meliputi: 1) Potensi dan masalah, 2 Pengumpulan data, 3) Desain Produk, 4) Uji coba terbatas, 5) Perbaikan desain, 6) Uji coba produk luas, 7) Revisi produk. Hasil validasi ahli media didapatkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan memperoleh kategori Layak atau sangat valid dengan persentase kevalidan 90,00 %, ahli materi memperoleh kategori Layak atau valid dengan persentase kevalidan 89,41%, dan ahli bahasa memperoleh kategori Layak atau sangat valid dengan persentase kevalidan 90,00%. Hasil N-Gain pada uji kelompok kecil diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,68 dengan kategori sedang, sedangkan hasil dari uji coba lapangan diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,77 dengan kategori tinggi. Hasil analisis menggunakan N Gain terdapat peningkatan penguasaan konsep peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan e modul berbasis petakonsep bergambar pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul berbasis petakonsep bergambar efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep peserta didik pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup, dan digunakan sebagai bahan ajar. Kata Kunci : E Modul, Peta konsep Bergambar, Penguasaan Konsep iii ABSTRACT Research into the development of e-module teaching materials based on illustrated concept maps on the classification of living things is based on students' low mastery of concepts regarding the classification of living things, several factors causing this are the unavailability of e-modules equipped with concept maps and pictures on the material on the classification of living things so that students have difficulty understanding concepts of material contained in printed books. This research aims to find out how to develop e-modules, the feasibility and effectiveness of illustrated concept map-based teaching materials on the classification of living things in improving students' mastery of concepts. Teaching materials based on illustrated concept maps on the classification of living things were developed using the Research and Development research method with a development model developed by Borg and Gall, which was simplified into 7 stages, including: 1) Potential and problems, 2 Data collection, 3) Product design , 4) Limited trials, 5) Design improvements, 6) Wide product trials, 7) Product revisions. The results of media expert validation showed that the product developed received the Decent or very valid category with a validity percentage of 90.00%, the material expert received the Decent or valid category with a validity percentage of 89.41%, and the linguist obtained the Decent or very valid category with a validity percentage 90.00%. The N-Gain results in the small group test obtained an average value of 0.68 in the medium category, while the results from field trials obtained an average value of 0.77 in the high category. The results of the analysis using N Gain showed an increase in students' mastery of concepts before and after using the illustrated concept map-based e-module on the classification of living things. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the pictorial concept map-based e-module is effective in improving students' mastery of concepts in the classification of living things, and is used as teaching material.
