Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang upaya guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam meningkatkan kesiapan belajar pada peserta didik di MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, provinsi Lampung. Kesiapan belajar yang diharapkan pada peserta didik tentu kesiapan belajar yang maksimal. Seseorang baru dapat belajar tentang sesuatu apabila di dalam dirinya sudah terdapat kesiapan untuk mempelajari sesuatu itu. Kesiapan adalah keseluruhan kondisi seseorang yang membuatnya siap untuk memberi respon/jawaban di dalam cara tertentu terhadap suatu situasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan jenis peniliannya adalah penelitian lapangan (Field research), dimana peneliti mendeskripsikan fenomena apasaja yang ditemui di lapangan. Adapun prosedur pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, populasi dalam penelitan ini ialah guru BK yang ada di MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, dan subjek penelitan ini adalah guru BK melalui populasi tersebut, teknik pengambilan subjek dengan menggunakan purposive sampling, ketentuan subjek ini ditentukan oleh pihak sekolah berdasarkan peraturan guru BK, kemudian tempat penelitian ini adalah di MTs Negeri 1 Kota Bandar Lampung, Provinsi Lampung. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa upaya guru BK ialah melakukan kolaborasi dengan wali kelas terkait yang ada di MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, dan guru BK melakukan metode pohon harapan guna membantu meningkatkan lagi kesiapan belajar peserta didik, kemudian guru BK melakukan adanya layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik Self-talk, melalui layanan tersebut guru BK mampu mengatasi dalam meningkatkan kesiapan belajar pada peserta didik. Kata kunci : Konseling Kelompok, Kesiapan Belajar ii ABSTRACT This study describes the efforts of guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming truancy behavior in class VII C students at MTs Negeri 1Bandar Lampung city, Lampung Province. The learning readiness expected of students is, of course, maximum learning readiness. A person can only learn about something when there is a readiness within him to learn that something. Readiness is the overall condition of a person that makes him ready to respond in a certain way to a situation. This research uses a qualitative research type, with the type of assessment being field research, in which the researcher describes what phenomena are encountered in the field. As for the procedure for collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation, the population in this research is the counseling teacher at MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, and the subject of this research is the counseling teacher through the population, the subject taking technique is using purposive sampling, subject provisions This was determined by the school based on the guidance and counseling teacher regulations, then the place of this research was at MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung City, Lampung Province. Based on the results of the study showed that the counseling teacher's efforts were to collaborate with the relevant homeroom teacher at MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, and the counseling teacher carried out the hope tree method to help improve students' learning readiness, then the counseling teacher carried out group counseling services by Self-talk technique, through this service the counseling teacher can overcome in increasing the learning readiness of students.
