Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Belajar sangat diperlukan dalam pembelajaran IPA. Pemahaman konsep yang baik menjadi dasar untuk pengembangan materi berikutnya. Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian yang dilakukan permasalahan yang melatar belakangi penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik disebabkan peserta didik kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran IPA. Peserta didik kurang menyimak apa yang pendidik jelaskan dan peserta didik sesekali mengerjakan urusan diluar dari kegiatan belajar dan peserta didik masih kurang percaya diri pada saat bertanya tentang hal-hal yang belum mereka pahami. Pendidik telah menerapkan berbagai jenis model pembelajaran tetapi belum bisa memaksimalkaan pemahaman konsep ipa peserta didik dilihat dari hasil belajar peserta didik dimana rata-rata masih banyak yang dibawah KKM dan belum tuntas. Oleh karena itu diperlukan tambahan model pembelajaran yang bervariasi sehingga peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif, termotivasi dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut peneliti menawarkan solusi berupa penggunaan model pembelajaran Giving Question And Getting Answer dalam membantu mengembangkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam memahmai konsep-konsep pembelajaran yang dianggap sulit dan menguatkan nilai Cooperative Learning yaitu interaksi diantara para peserta didik dan interaksi anatar peserta didik dan pendidik dalam pembentukan pengetahuan bersama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design menggunakan Pretest Posttest Control Design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Sukabumi Indah Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 berjumlah 85 peserta didik. Kelas IV A berjumlah 28 peserta didik, kelas IV B berjumlah 28 peserta didik, dan kelas IV C berjumlah 29 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Purposive Sampling, yaitu teknik penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Penentuan kelas yang akan digunakan untuk penelitian ini dengan mempertimbangkan sesuatu, yaitu dengan memilih kelas yang memiliki presentase nilai harian yang paling rendah. Sebagai kelas eksperimen kelas IV B menggunakan model pembelajaran Giving Question And Getting iii Answer dan kelas IV C sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran Make A Match. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes pemahaman konsep IPA berupa soal uraian. Sebelum melakukan penelitian instrument tes uji coba dan dihitung validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda. Kemudian uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji t, sebelum dilakukan uji t data diuji prasyarat analisisnya terlebih dahulu yaitu dengan menggunakan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Berdasarkan pengujian data hasil analisis normalitas dan homogenitas diperoleh bahwa sampel tersebut berdistribusi normal dan homogen atau varians sama sehingga pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Independent t-test (Uji-t) dengan taraf signifikan 5% (α = 0,05), yakni diperoleh p-Value < α (0,00 < 0,05) dan juga diperoleh hitung > htabel (4,113 > 2,00404) yang menyatakan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yag signifikan dari model pembelajaran Giving Question And Getting Answer terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Sukabumi Indah Bandar Lampung. A good understanding of the concept becomes the basis for developing further material. Based on the results of pre�research conducted, the problem behind this research is that students' understanding of science concepts is still low because students are less active in learning science. Students do not pay attention to what is explained by educators and students sometimes do things outside of learning activities and students still lack confidence when asking questions that they do not understand. Therefore, it is necessary to add varied learning models so that students become more active, motivated and can increase students' understanding of concepts in science learning. Based on these problems, researchers offer a solution in the form of using the Giving Question and Getting Answer learning model to increase students' understanding of science concepts. This can be seen from the scores obtained by class IV students at SDN 1 Sukabumi Indah Bandar Lampung in pre-research of students who scored below the KKM. Therefore, researchers conducted research using the Giving Question and Getting Answer learning model. The formulation in this research is whether there is a significant influence of the Giving Question and Getting Answer learning model on the understanding of science concepts for class IV students at SDN 1 Sukabumi Indah Bandar Lampung. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Giving Questions and Getting Answers Cooperative Learning Model on the understanding of science concepts for class IV students at SDN 1 Sukabumi Indah Bandar Lampung. This research is a quantitative research with experimental research methods. This research design uses Quasi Experimental Design using Pretest Posttest Control Design. The population of this study was all class IV of SDN 1 Sukabumi Indah Bandar Lampung for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 85 students. Class IV A has 28 students, class IV B has 28 students, and class IV C has 29 students. The sampling technique in this research uses purposive sampling, namely a sampling technique with certain considerations. Determining the class that will be used for this research pays attention to something, namely choosing the class that has the lowest daily value percentage. As an experimental class, class IV B uses the Giving Question And Getting Answer learning model and class IV C v as a control class uses the Make A Match learning model. The data collection technique used was a test of understanding science concepts in the form of essay questions. Before conducting research, the test instrument is tested and tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty and distinguishing power. Then test the research hypothesis using the t test. Before carrying out the t test, the data is tested for analysis prerequisites first, namely by using normality and homogeneity tests. Based on data processing, the results of the normality and homogeneity test analysis show that the two sample classes are normal and homogeneous, so that for hypothesis testing a paired sample test (t test) is used with a significance level of 5% (0.05), namely 0.000 < 0.05 which is obtained . states that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the Giving Question and Getting Answer Type Cooperative Learning Model on the Understanding of Science Concepts of Class IV Students at SDN 1 Sukabumi Indah Bandar Lampung.
