Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendidikan di Indonesia diharapkan mampu membentuk dan menyiapkan generasi bangsa yang memiliki keseimbangan antara iptek dan imtaq, dengan kata lain harus mampu mengembangkan kecerdasan intelektual (IQ), kecerdasan emosi (EQ) dan kecerdasan spiritual (SQ). Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peran Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan (LDK) dalam mengembangkan Emosional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) siswa yang dilihat dari aspek pelaksanaan, kendala dan upaya yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Blambangan Umpu Kabupaten Way Kanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumetasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pembina OSIS, ketua OSIS dan anggota OSIS. Teknis analisis data dengan analisis interaktif yaitu reduksi, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan berperan dalam membantu mengembangkan Emosional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Blambangan Umpu Kabupaten Way Kanan. Kata Kunci: Peran, Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan, Emosional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) iii ABSTRACT Education in Indonesia is expected to be able to form and prepare a generation of people who have a balance between science and technology and imtaq, in other words it must be able to develop intellectual intelligence (IQ), emotional intelligence (EQ) and spiritual intelligence (SQ). This study aims to describe the role of basic Leadership Training (LDK) in developing students Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) seen from the aspects of implementation, constraints and efforts made at SMA Negeri 1 Blambangan Umpu, Way Kanan Regency. The research use descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were the OSIS chairman and the OSIS members. Technical analysis of data with interactive analysis, namely reduction, presentation of data and conclusions. The results of the study show that the Basic Leadership Training program plays a role in helping to develop the Emosional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) of students at SMA Negeri 1 Blambangan Umpu Way Kanan Regency.
