Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendidikan merupakan salah satu aspek penting, dengan adanya pendidikan kita dapat mengembangkan kemampuan yang terdapat dalam diri. Berdasarkan hasil yang dari data yang didapatkan dari pra penelitian di MTs Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung dapat dikatakan bahwa masih rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan generalisasi matematis siswa dalam memahami soal, hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan model pembelajaran yang kurang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran pbl (problem based learning) dengan hlt (hypothetical learning trajectory) berbantuan ice breaking terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan generalisasi matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan Simple Random Sampling sebagai teknik pengambilan sampelnya. Terdapat 2 kelas eksperimen dan 1 kelas kontrol. VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dengan mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran PBL dengan HLT, VIII A sebagai kelas eskperimen 2 mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran PBL dengan HLT berbantuan ice breaking, dan kelas VIII sebagai kelas kontrol dengan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Uji MANOVA dipilih sebagai analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, maka didapatkan hasil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) Dengan Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) Berbantuan Ice Breaking Terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Dan Kemampuan Generalisasi Matematis Siswa. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL), Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT), Ice Breaking, Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep, Kemampuan Generalisasi Matematis. ABSTRACT Education is an important aspect, with education we can develop the abilities within ourselves. Based on the results from data obtained from pre-research at MTs Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung, it can be said that students' ability to understand concepts and mathematical generalization abilities in understanding problems is still low, this is influenced by the use of inappropriate learning models. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of the PBL (problem based learning) learning model with HLT (hypothetical learning trajectory) assisted by ice breaking on students' ability to understand concepts and mathematical generalization abilities. The type of research carried out was Quasi Experimental Design with the population in this research being all class VIII students at MTs Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. This research uses Simple Random Sampling as the sampling technique. There are 2 experimental classes and 1 control class. VIII B as experimental class 1 received PBL learning model treatment with HLT, VIII A as experimental class 2 received PBL learning model treatment with HLT assisted by ice breaking, and class VIII as a control class with expository learning model. The MANOVA test was chosen as the analysis used in this research. Based on the analysis carried out, the conclusion was obtained that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model with Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) Assisted by Ice Breaking on Students' Concept Understanding Ability and Mathematical Generalization Ability.
