Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan karena belum dikembangkannya media pembelajaran tematik menggunakan media video interaktif powtoon berbasis teaching and learning di SD Negeri 1 Sabah Balau dan MI Al-Fajar Pringsewu. Pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung pendidik sudah menggunakan media pembelajaran, namun belum menggunakan media pembelajaran berupa teknologi, hanya menggunakan buku paket, serta pembelajaran tematik yang di pelajari terkesan biasa saja membuat peserta didik sulit memahami pembelajaran. Penelitian ini mengenai pengembangan video interaktif powtoon berbasis pendekatan teaching and learning (CTL) sebagai media pembelajaran tematik pada tema indahnya negeriku kelas IV SD/MI yang dapat membantu pendidik dan peserta didik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah pengembangan (Research and Development atau R&D). penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE, yang menggunakan lima langkah tahapan dalam penelitian, yaitu 1) analysis 2) Design 3) develompent 4) implementation 5) evaluation. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa skala penilaian untuk mengetahui kelayakan video interaktif powtoon dan mengetahui kemenarikan media video interaktif powtoon sebagai media pembelajaran tematik yaitu menggunakan skala likert. Analisis data yang di lakukan yaitu mengumpulkan data kualitatif dan kualitatif dari ahli media, ahli materi dan peserta didik kelas IV SD/MI. Hasil penelitian yang telah di kembangkan memperoleh desain media video interaktif powtoon berbasis contextual teaching and learning dengan presentase kelayakan ahli media 90% dan ahli materi 73% dengan kriteria “sangat layak”. Presentase respon peserta didik terhadap kemenarikan produk pada uji coba skala kecil memperoleh presentase 94,25% dengan kriteria “sangat menarik” dan uji coba skala besar 95,75% dengan kriteria “sangat menarik” serta respon pendidik sebesar 97,22% dengan kriteria “sangat menarik”. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan uji coba produk maka penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran video interaktif powtoon berbasis contextual teaching and learning layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. When learning takes place, educators have used learning media, but have not used learning media in the form of technology, only using textbooks, and the thematic learning that is studied seems ordinary, making it difficult for students to understand the learning. This research concerns the development of interactive Powtoon videos based on the teaching and learning (CTL) approach as a thematic learning medium on the theme of the beauty of my country for class IV SD/MI which can help educators and students in learning activities. The type of research that will be used is development (Research and Development or R&D). This research refers to the ADDIE development model, which uses five stages in research, namely 1) analysis 2) Design 3) development 4) implementation 5) evaluation. The instrument used is an assessment scale to determine the suitability of Powtoon interactive videos and determine the attractiveness of Powtoon interactive video media as a thematic learning medium, namely using a Likert scale. The data analysis carried out was collecting qualitative and qualitative data from media experts, material experts and class IV SD/MI students. The results of the research that have been developed obtained a contextual teaching and learning-based Powtoon interactive video media design with a feasibility percentage of media experts of 90% and material experts of 73% with the criteria "very feasible". The percentage of students' responses to the product's attractiveness in small-scale trials obtained a percentage of 94.25% with the criteria "very interesting" and large-scale trials 95.75% with the criteria "very interesting" and educators' responses were 97.22% with the criteria " very interesting". Based on the results of expert validation and product trials, the author can conclude that the Powtoon interactive video learning media based on contextual teaching and learning is suitable for use as a learning media.
