Abstract

ABSTRAK Kepemimpinan diartikan sebagai kemampuan menggerakkan atau memotivasi sejumlah orang agar secara serentak melakukan kegiatan yang sama dan terarah pada pencapaian tujuannya. Sedangkan Kepala madrasah adalah salah satu komponen pendidikan yang paling berperan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Kepemimpinan Kepala madrasah adalah kemampuan seseorang untuk menggerakkan atau memotivasi sejumlah orang agar secara serentak melakukan kegiatan yang sama dan terarah pada pencapaian tujuannya serta sebagai komponen penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. motivasi adalah kondisi fisiologis dan psikologis yang terdapat dalam diri seseorang yang mendorongnya untuk melakukan aktivitas tertentu guna mencapai suatu tujuan Dengan demikian motivasi seseorang timbul dikarenakan adanya kebutuhan dan upaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut itulah yang menimbulkan motivasi dalam dirinya. Dari penjelasan diatas penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Adapun yang menjadi populasi di dalam penelitian ini 63 guru, dan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan sampel random sampling. Metode pengumpulan datanya menggunakan angket. Uji analisis data yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linieritas dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah uji regresi linier sederhana, uji T dan uji F. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan kepala madrasah terhadap motivasi kerja guru di MTs Negeri Kota Bandar Lampung. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai korelasi koefisien variabel kepemimpinan kepala madrasah (X) dan variabel motivasi kerja (Y) sebesar 0,737 dengan taraf signifikasi (sig) 0,05 Diperoleh pula nilai R square sebesar 0,544. Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa 54,4% pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala madrasah terhadap motivasi kerja guru, sedangkan 44,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dipakai dalam penelitian ini. Madrasah leadership is the ability of a person to move or motivate a number of people to simultaneously carry out the same activities and be directed towards achieving their goals as well as being an important component in improving the quality of education. motivation is a physiological and psychological condition that exists within a person that encourages him to carry out certain activities in order to achieve a goal. Thus, a person's motivation arises because of a need and the effort to fulfill these needs is what creates motivation in him. From the explanation above, this research uses quantitative descriptive. As for the population in this study, 63 teachers, and the sample in this study used a random sampling sample. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. Data analysis tests which include normality tests, homogeneity tests, linearity tests and data analysis techniques used to test hypotheses are simple linear regression tests, T tests and F tests. Based on the results obtained in this study, it shows that there is a significant influence between the leadership of the madrasa head on the work motivation of teachers at MTs Negeri Kota Bandar Lampung. This can be seen from the correlation coefficient value of the madrasa head leadership variable (X) and work motivation variable (Y) of 0.737 with a significance level (sig) of 0.05. An R square value of 0.544 is also obtained. This could imply that 54,4% of the influence of the madrasa principal's leadership on teacher work motivation, while 44,4% was influenced by other factors that were not used in this study.
