Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi gerakan literasi sekolah dalam menumbuhkan karakter gemar membaca peserta didik dan faktor-faktor yang mendukung serta menghambat implementasi gerakan literasi sekolah di SDS Soekarno Hatta Kotabumi Lampung Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan subjek dan sumber data utama yaitu Guru kelas, Kepala Sekolah, Petugas Perpustakaan dan Peserta Didik di SDS Soekarno Hatta Kotabumi Lampung Utara. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman yaitu dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Proses implementasi Gerakan literasi sekolah dalam menumbuhkan karakter gemar membaca di SDS Soekarno Hatta Kotabumi Lampung Utara dilakukan pada tiga tahapan yaitu tahap pembiasaan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap pembelajaran. Selanjutnya, faktor pendukung yang dialami sekolah tersebut berupa adanya fasilitas sarana dan prasarana, adanya pojok baca, perpustakaan, dan dukungan serta motivasi yang didapat oleh peserta didik. Faktor penghambat yang dialami sekolah tersebut adalah Kurangnya minat baca pada peserta didik dikarenakan adanya keberadaan sosial media, Kurangnya Kreativitas Sekolah dalam mengajak peserta didik memperbaiki poster, dan Kurangnya fokus peserta didik dalam kegiatan membaca. Kata Kunci : Gerakan Literasi, Implementasi, Karakter Gemar Membaca. iv ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the implementation of the school literacy movement in fostering the character of students' love of reading and the factors that support and hinder the implementation of the school literacy movement at SDS Soekarno Hatta Kotabumi North Lampung. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach with the main subjects and data sources, namely class teachers, school principals, library officers and students at SDS Soekarno Hatta Kotabumi North Lampung. Data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the theory of Miles and Huberman, namely by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and verification. The results of this study show that the implementation process of the school literacy movement in fostering the character of fond of reading at SDS Soekarno Hatta Kotabumi North Lampung is carried out in three stages, namely the habituation stage, the development stage and the learning stage. Furthermore, the supporting factors experienced by the school are in the form of facilities and infrastructure, the existence of a reading corner, library, and support and motivation obtained by students. The inhibiting factors experienced by the school are the lack of interest in reading in students due to the existence of social media, the lack of school creativity in inviting students to improve posters, and the lack of focus of students in reading activities.
