Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIVE INTEGRATED READING AND COMPOSITION BERBANTUAN MIND MAPPING TERHADAP BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN MINAT BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VII MATA PELAJARAN IPA SMP Oleh Fenny Lina Anggraini Masih banyak peserta didik yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dan minat belajar yang rendah di SMPN 2 Tanjung Bintang. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dan minat belajar yang kurang ini muncul karena Sebagian peserta didik menggangap pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam sangat sulit dipahami. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition Berbantuan mind mapping terhadap berpikir kritis dan minat belajar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif jenis quasi eksprimen dengan desain posttest only control design. Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan Simpel Random Sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan soal tes dan angket. Uji normalitas yang digunakan adalah uji kolmogorov-Smirnov untuk uji homogenitas menggunakan uji Levene’s sedangkan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji Manova. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menyatakan penelitian menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition dengan hasil uji manova diketahui bahwa H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima dengan diperoleh tingkat signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran CIRC terhadap berpikir kritis dan minat belajar peserta didik kelas VII. This lack of critical thinking skills and interest in learning arises because some students find natural science subjects very difficult to understand. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect to cooperative integrated reading and composition learning model assisted by mind mapping on critical thinking and learning interest. This research is a quasi experimental quantitative research with a posttest only control design. The sample in this study used simple random sampling. Data collection instruments using test questions and questionnaires. The homogeneity test using the levene test while the hypothesis test is with the manova test. Based on the results of the analysis stated that the research used the cooperative integrated reading and composition learning model with the results of the manova test known that Ho was rejected and H₁ was accepted with a significant level of 0,000 < 0,05 so it could be concluded that there was an influence of the cooperative integrated reading and composition learning model on critical thinking and learning interest of class VII students.
