Abstract

ABSTRAK Gotong royong diperlukan untuk menjalin kerukunan dan keharmonisan masyarakat, terutama dalam situasi pasca konflik. Dengan masyarakat yang rukun, maka pencapaian pembangunan dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Untuk itu, dibutuhkan peran tokoh masyarakat, untuk menumbuhkan semangat gotong royong tersebut di dalam masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran bagaiamana masyarakat mempertahankan gotong royong tersebut ditengah ancaman modernisasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah desa di Kecamatan Banjaran. Pendekatan penelitan ini adalah pendektan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, obserbvasi dan studi dokumentasi. Dalam peran ini menggunakan peran langsung ( Direct Role) dan peran yang memungkinkan ( Enabling Role). Faktor penghambat peran pemerintah dalam menumbuhkan sikap gotong royong adalah, adanya globalisasi, tingkat individualisme masyarakat, pekembangan teknologi, serta masuknya ideologi dari luar. Hasil penelitian ini adalah, peran tokoh masyarakat dalam menumbuhkan sikap gotong royong di Desa Bali Nuraga adalah berusaha untuk mendukung kemajuan wilayah. Gotong royong dapat menjadi landasan perdamaian pada masyarakat, terutama masyarakat yang berkonflik. Dengan adanya hubungan harmonis yang tercipta dari gotong royong, konflik di dalam masyarakat dapat dievaluasi, sehingga kehidupan masyarakat semakin maju dan nyaman bagi para anggota di dalamnya. Kata kunci : Peran, Tokoh Masyarakat, Gotong Royong. ABSTRACT Gotong royong is needed to establish social harmony and harmony, especially in post-conflict situations. With a harmonious society, the achievement of development can be carried out properly. For this reason, the role of community leaders is needed, to foster the spirit of mutual cooperation in society. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of community leaders in cultivating an attitude of mutual cooperation in the community as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors for the role of community leaders in fostering an attitude of mutual cooperation in the community in Bali Nuraga Village, Way Panji District, South Lampung Regency. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of how the community maintains mutual cooperation amid the threat of modernization. This research was conducted in the village area in Banjaran District. This research approach is a qualitative research approach with qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observation and documentation studies. This study uses descriptive qualitative research, this research is conducted on scientific objects, objects that develop as they are are not contrived and manipulated by the research does not affect the condition of the object under study. In this case, of course, the facts related to the role of community leaders in fostering an attitude of mutual cooperation in society. The results of this study are that the role of community leaders in cultivating a mutual cooperation attitude in Bali Nuraga Village is to try to support regional progress. Gotong royong can be the basis of peace in society, especially in conflicted communities. With the existence of a harmonious relationship that is created from mutual cooperation, conflicts in society can be evaluated, so that community life is more advanced and comfortable for the members in it..
