Abstract

ABSTRAK Provinsi Lampung memiliki lebih dari 641 tempat wisata yang meliputi berbagai objek pariwisata seperti pantai, gunung, danau, hutan, monumen, museum, dan banyak lagi. Beberapa tempat wisata yang populer di Provinsi Lampung adalah Pantai Tanjung Setia, Gunung Rakutak, Danau Ranau, dan Danau Tempe. Banyaknya jumlah tempat pariwisata di provinsi Lampung, menyebabkan peningkatan jumlah wisatawan, baik domestik maupun mancanegara, yang datang ke tempat-tempat pariwisata yang berada di provinsi Lampung. Berkembangannya sektor pariwisa di suatu daerah akan mendorong dan mempercepat pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif berbentuk asosiatif yang terdiri dari dua variabel bebas yaitu jumlah kunjungan wisatawan dan okupasi penginpam, dan satu variabel terikat yaitu pertumbuhan ekonomi yang terdapat di BPS Provinsi Lampung dan Dinas Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Provinsi Lampung tahun 2018- 2022. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik regresi linear berganda. Jumlah kunjungan wisatawan tidak secara langsung mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi sektor pariwisata. Kuantitas orang dan tingkat pengeluaran belum tentu berhubungan secara positif. Namun, okupansi penginapan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi sektor pariwisata. Ketika tingkat hunian hotel meningkat, hal ini diikuti dengan peningkatan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) pada Sub Sektor Pariwisata. Secara simultan, kedua faktor tersebut saling berpengaruh dan berkontribusi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi sektor pariwisata. Jumlah kunjungan wisatawan yang tinggi dapat meningkatkan tingkat okupansi penginapan, dan tingkat okupansi yang tinggi dapat menarik lebih banyak wisatawan untuk mengunjungi destinasi tersebut. ABSTRACT Lampung Province has more than 641 tourist attractions which include various tourism objects such as beaches, mountains, lakes, forests, monuments, museums, and many more. Some popular tourist attractions in Lampung Province are Tanjung Setia Beach, Mount Rakutak, Lake Ranau, and Lake Tempe. The large number of tourism places in Lampung province has led to an increase in the number of tourists, both domestic and foreign, who come to tourism places in Lampung province. The development of the tourism sector in an area will encourage and accelerate economic growth. This research is a quantitative research in associative form consisting of two independent variables, namely the number of tourist visits and occupancy of guests, and one dependent variable, namely economic growth in the BPS of Lampung Province and the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of Lampung Province in 2018-2019. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression techniques. The number of tourist visits does not directly affect the economic growth of the tourism sector. The quantity of people and spending levels are not necessarily positively related. However, lodging occupancy has a positive and significant influence on the economic growth of the tourism sector. When the hotel occupancy rate increases, this is followed by an increase in local revenue (PAD) in the tourism sub-sector. Simultaneously, these two factors influence each other and contribute to the economic growth of the tourism sector. A high number of tourist visits can increase the occupancy rate of lodging, and a high occupancy rate can attract more tourists to visit the destination. Keywords: Tourist, Occupancy, Tourism.
