Abstract

ABSTRAK Oleh Mila Atika Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar untuk mewujudkan bagaimana peserta didik berkembang aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Pada dasarnya pendidikan adalah suatu cara yang diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan dalam hidup. Apalagi persaingan hidup yang semakin berat, memaksa manusia untuk menggali potensi dengan pendidikan. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat pemahaman peserta didik adalah model pembelajaran yang diberikan guru masih bersifat konvensional hal ini yang harus diperbaiki untuk pendidikan saat ini. Peneliti menemukan masalah di MTs Negeri 1 Mesuji, bahwa peserta didik disekolah tersebut masih memiliki tingkat pemahaman yang kurang dalam mata pelajaran Fiqih maka model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dapat dijadikan solusi untuk mengubah pembelajaran yang diterapkan sekarang. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) merupakan model pembelajaran yang sangat menekankan pada kerjasama dalam kelompok belajar, sehingga menuntut siswa untuk saling membantu, memberi motivasi, dan saling percaya satu sama lain. Pembelajaran yang menekankan pada kerjasama akan memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk belajar bekerjasama, berbagi pendapat, pengetahuan, pengalaman, mendengarkan pendapat orang lain, saling memotivasi dan aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk analisa efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dalam meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Peserta Didik Kelas VIII Pada Mata Pelajaran Fiqih Di MTs Negeri 1 Mesuji. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian quasy Eksperimen Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini kelas VIII yang berjumlah 140 Peserta didik sedangkan yang digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VIII A sebagai kelas Eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas Kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian dilakukan selama empat minggu di sekolah dan teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes bentuk soal yang terdiri dari pretest dan posttest. Setelah dilakukan penelitian dan dilakukan perhitungan dengan menggunakan Uji-t tersebut maka diperoleh nilai pada equal variances assumed yaitu nilai sig.(2-tailed) yaitu 0,000 atau sig.(2-tailed) < 0,05 (5%), maka dapat diartikan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Yang berarti penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dalam meningkatan pemahaman konsep peserta didik kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran fiqih di MTs Negeri 1 Mesuji. Basically education is a necessary way to achieve goals in life. Moreover, competition in life is getting tougher, forcing people to explore their potential through education. One of the factors that influence the level of understanding of students is that the learning model provided by the teacher is still conventional, this must be improved for current education. The researcher found a problem at MTs Negeri 1 Mesuji, that students at the school still had a low level of understanding in Fiqh subjects, so the cooperative learning model of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type could be used as a solution to change the learning that is being implemented now. The cooperative learning model of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type is a learning model that places a strong emphasis on cooperation in study groups, thus requiring students to help each other, provide motivation, and trust one another. Learning that emphasizes cooperation will provide opportunities for students to learn to work together, share opinions, knowledge, experiences, listen to the opinions of others, motivate each other and be active in learning activities. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Cooperative Learning Model Type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) in increasing the Conceptual Understanding of Class VIII Students in the Subject of Fiqh at MTs Negeri 1 Mesuji. This research is a quantitative research and the type of quasy research is Experiment Design. The population in this study was class VIII, which consisted of 140 students, while those used as the research sample were class VIII A as the Experiment class using the STAD learning model and class VIII C as the control class using the conventional learning model. The research was conducted for four weeks at school and the data collection technique in this study was a test in the form of questions consisting of pretest and posttest. After conducting research and calculating using the t-test, the value of equal variances assumed is obtained, namely the value of sig.(2-tailed) which is 0.000 or sig.(2-tailed) < 0.05 (5%), so it can be interpreted that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Which means this research shows that there is a difference between the experimental class using the cooperative learning model of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type and the control class using the conventional learning model. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the STAD type cooperative learning model in increasing students' conceptual understanding of class VIII in fiqh subjects at MTs Negeri 1 Mesuji.
