Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis dan sikap ilmiah peserta didik berdasarkan hasil dari pra-penelitian, hal tersebut disebabkan karena peserta didik belum mampu dalam memecahkan masalah dan menemukan solusi yang tepat dari suatu permasalahan serta pasifnya peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan menggunakan pretes-postest control group design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas XI MIPA 6 (kelas eksperimen) dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran RICOSRE dan XI MIPA 4 (kelas kontrol) dengan menerapkan model Discovery Learning. Berdasarkan hasil data analisis yang diperoleh hasil hipotesis H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, hasil uji independen sample t-test thitung ≤ ttabel dengan α = 0,05, diperoleh hasil berpikir kritis 0,000 < 0,05 dan sikap ilmiah0,006 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat pengaruh model RICOSRE terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Biologi kelas XI SMA, 2) Terdapat pengaruh model RICOSRE terhadap sikap ilmiah peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Biologi kelas XI SMA. Kata Kunci: Berpikir Kritis; Model RICOSRE; Sikap Ilmiah. iv ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills and scientific attitude of students based on the results of pre-research, this is because students have not been able to solve problems and find the right solution to a problem and the students are passive in the learning process. The research method used in this study was a quasi experiment using a pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted in class XI MIPA 6 (experimental class) by applying the RICOSRE learning model and XI MIPA 4 (control class) by applying the Discovery Learning model. Based on the results of the analysis data obtained from the results of the hypothesis H0 being rejected and H1 being accepted, the results of the independent sample t-test tcount ≤ ttable with α = 0.05, the results of critical thinking were 0.000 <0.05 and scientific attitude 0.006 <0.05. So it can be concluded that: 1) There is an influence of the RICOSRE model on students' critical thinking skills in Biology class XI SMA, 2) There is an influence of the RICOSRE model on students' scientific attitudes in Biology class XI SMA.
