Abstract

ABSTRACT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELF-EFFICACY AND ANXIETY ABOUT FACING THE WORLD OF WORK IN FINAL SEMESTER PSYCHOLOGY STUDENTS OF UIN RADEN INTAN LAMPUNG By: Elvina Miranti This era of globalization requires individuals, especially students, to be able to face various problems and challenges that are increasingly complex in entering the world of work. This indirectly requires students to have abilities that are in accordance with the needs of the world of work such as Self Efficacy. This study aims to see the relationship between Self Efficacy (X) Anxiety Facing the World of Work (Y) in final semester students. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between Self Efficacy (X) Anxiety Facing the World of Work (Y) in final semester students. The population in this study is UIN Raden Intan Lampung students in the Department of Islamic Psychology in the class of 2017 and 2018. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling, that is, taking samples based on certain criteria, in this case there are 140 students who become research samples. The Self Efficacy scale in this study was modified from Bandura (2018) with a scale validity of 0.897 with a total item correlation between 0.378-0.782 with P > 0.3. As for the scale of Anxiety Facing the World of Work in Adoption from Wicaksono (2016) with validity of 0.912 with a total item correlation between 0.370-0.785 and P>0.3. Hypothesis test using product moment correlation analysis from Pearson. The results of this study show that there is a significant negative relationship between Self Efficacy and Anxiety Facing the World of Work in Final Semester Students, which is -0.503 with a significant 0.000 where P<0.01. With these results, the researcher's hypothesis is accepted. This means that the higher the Self Efficacy possessed by the individual, the lower the anxiety in facing the world of work. ABSTRAK HUBUNGAN ANTARA SELF EFFICACY TERHADAP KCEMASAN MENGHADAPI DUNIA KERJA PADA MAHASISWA SEMESTER AKHIR PSIKOLOGI UIN RADEN INTAN LAMPUNG Oleh : Elvina Miranti Era globalisasi ini menuntut individu khususnya mahasiswa untuk dapat menghadapi berbagai permasalahan dan tantangan yang semakin kompleks dalam memasuki dunia kerja. Hal tersebut secara tidak langsung mengharuskan mahasiswa untuk memiliki kemampuan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja seperti Self Efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan Self Efficacy (X) Kecemasan Menghadapi Dunia Kerja (Y) pada Mahasiswa Semester akhir. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yaitu Terdapat hubungan antara Self Efficacy (X) Kecemasan Menghadapi Dunia Kerja (Y) pada Mahasiswa Semester akhir. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa UIN Raden Intan lampung pada jurusan Psikologi Islam pada angkatan 2017 dan 2018. Tekhnik sampling yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling yaitu, mengambil mengambil sampel berdasarkan kriteria tertentu, dalam hal ini terdapat 140 Mahasiswa yang menjadi sample penelitian. Skala Self Efficacy dalam penelitian ini di modifikasi dari Bandura (2018) dengan validitas skala 0,897 dengan korelasi aitem total antara 0,378-0,782 dengan P > 0,3. Sementara untuk skala Kecemasan Menghadapi Dunia Kerja di Adopsi dari Wicaksono (2016) dengan validitas 0,912 dengan korelasi aitem total antara 0,370-0,785 dan P>0,3. Uji Hipotesis menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment dari Pearson. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negative signifikan antara Self Efficacy dengan Kecemasan Menghadapi Dunia kerja Pada Mahasiswa Semester Akhir, yaitu sebesar -0,503 dengan signifikan 0,000 dimana P<0,01. Dengan hasil tersebut maka hipotesis peneliti diterima. Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi Self Efficacy yang dimiliki individu maka semakin rendah Kecemasan Dalam Menghadapi Dunia Kerja.
