Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, MATHEMATIC AND RELIGIOUS (STEM.R) TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS DAN SIKAP PEDULI LINGKUNGAN MATERI PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan STEM.R (Science, Technology, Engginering, Mathematics and Religious) terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan sikap peduli lingkungan materi pencemaran lingkungan. Metode penelitian kuantitatif yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen (quasy experimental research) dengan Desain penelitian Nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kalianda. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 2 kelas yang pilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes berbentuk pilihan ganda (Multiple choice) untuk mengukur keterampilan proses sains dan non tes berupa angket untuk mengukur sikap peduli lingkungan. Dari hasil analisa diperoleh uji statistika bahwa Sig. (ρvalue) = 0.002 < α = 0.05. Dan diperoleh uji Sig 2 Tailed Sig. (ρvalue) = 0.000 < α = 0.05, sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Pendekatan STEM.R terhadap keterampilan sains dan sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah I Kalianda. Kata kunci: Keterampilan Proses Sains, Quasi Eksperimental, Sikap Peduli Lingkungan, STEM.R. iii ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, MATHEMATIC AND RELIGIOUS (STEM.R) APPROACHES ON SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS AND ENVIRONMENTAL ATTITUDES ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION MATERIAL This study aims to determine the effect of the STEM.R approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Religious) on science process skills and attitudes towards caring for the environment regarding environmental pollution. The quantitative research method applied in this study was quasi-experimental research with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were students of class VII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kalianda. The sample used is 2 selected classes using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used was a multiple choice test to measure science process skills and a non-test in the form of a questionnaire to measure environmental care attitudes. From the results of the analysis obtained statistical tests that Sig. (ρvalue) = 0.002 < α = 0.05. And the Sig 2 Tailed Sig test was obtained. (ρvalue) = 0.000 < α = 0.05, so that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the STEM.R approach on the science skills and environmental care attitudes of class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah I Kalianda.
