Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan program- program dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan di SD Negeri 1 Gedong Tataan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, guru dan siswa. Objek penelitian ini yaitu situasi sosial yang menunjukkan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan di SD Negeri 1 Gedong Tataan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan di SD Negeri 1 Gedong Tataan dilaksanakan melalui (a) Kebijakan sekolah berwawasan lingkungan, meliputi adanya visi misi yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan, RKAS untuk program lingkungan, keteladanan, tindakan spontan, kebiasaan rutin, dan pengkondisian. (b) Pelaksanaan kurikulum berbasis lingkungan, meliputi perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pedidikan lingkungan hidup terintegrasi dalam mata pelajaran. (c) Kegiatan lingkungan berbasis partisispatif, meliputi pemeliharaan gedung dan lingkungan, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, kreativitas dan inovasi, serta kerjasama dengan orang tua hingga instansi pemerintah. (d) Pengelolaan sarana pendukung ramah lingkungan, meliputi kelengkapan sarana, pemeliharaan sarana, hemat energi dan pelayanan kantin sehat. Dalam hal ini, implementasi sudah sampai tahap tindakan moral misalnya praktik menanam hidroponik dalam program KMDM, namun belum sampai tahap kebiasaan karena masih perlu diingatkan untuk selalu peduli lingkungan. Kendala dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan di SD Negeri Negeri 1 Gedong Tataan yaitu dalam (a) Kebijakan sekolah berwawasan lingkungan, meliputi kurangnya kesadaran siswa dan kurangnya pemahaman siswa tentang pemilahan sampah. (b) Pelaksanaan kurikulum berbasis lingkungan, meliputi kurangnya persiapan guru, kurikulum belum berdiri sendiri dan kurangnya pemahaman siswa. (c) Kegiatan lingkungan berbasis partisispatif, meliputi kurangnya tim kerja yang solid, kurangnya kreativitas warga sekolah dan siswa kurang aktif dalam iii ekstrakurikuler. (d) Pengelolaan sarana pendukung ramah lingkungan meliputi kurang aktifnya kantin paguyuban, terdapat sarana yang rusak dan kurangnya kesadaran siswa untuk membeli makanan sehat. Kata Kunci : Analisis, Pendidikan Karakter, Peduli Lingkungan. iv ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the implementation of the programs and the obstacles encountered in implementing environmental care character education at SD Negeri 1 Gedong Tataan. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subjects in this study were the principal, teachers and students. The object of this research is the social situation that shows the implementation of environmental care character education at SD Negeri 1 Gedong Tataan. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed using data reduction techniques, displaying data and drawing conclusions or verification. Test the validity of the data using technique and source triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of environmental care character education in SD Negeri 1 Gedong Tataan was carried out through (a) environmentally sound school policies, including the existence of a vision and mission related to the environment, RKAS for environmental programs, exemplary, spontaneous action, routine habits, and conditioning. (b) Implementation of an environment-based curriculum, including planning and implementation of integrated environmental education in subjects. (c) Participatory-based environmental activities, including building and environmental maintenance, extracurricular activities, creativity and innovation, as well as cooperation with parents and government agencies. (d) Management of environmentally friendly supporting facilities, completeness includes facilities, maintenance facilities, energy saving and healthy canteen services. In this case, implementation has reached the stage of moral action, for example the practice of growing hydroponics in the KMDM program, but has not yet reached the habitual stage because it still needs to be remembered to always care for the environment. Obstacles in the implementation of environmental care character education at Gedong Tataan 1 Public Elementary School, namely in (a) Environmentally sound school policies, including lack of student awareness and lack of student understanding of waste sorting. (b) Implementation of an environment-based curriculum, including the lack of teacher preparation, the curriculum is not yet independent and the lack of student understanding. (c) Participatory´┐Żbased environmental activities, including the lack of a solid work v team, lack of creativity by school members and students who are less active in extracurricular activities. (d) Management of environmentally friendly supporting facilities includes the inactivity of the community canteen, damaged facilities and low awareness of students to buy healthy food.
