Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan suatu kemampuan penguasaan terhadap materi serta dalam memahami, menguasai dan mengaplikasikannya dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Quasi Experimental Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MAN 1 Lampung Utara. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang diterapkan adalah cluster random sampling dengan materi relasi dan fungsi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah angket kecemasan matematis dan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analysis of covariance (one-way ancova), dengan taraf signifikan 5% diperoleh (1) p – value = 0,038 < α = 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dengan kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran STEAM terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dengan mengontrol kecemasan matematis.(2) p – value = 0,035 < α = 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dengan kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh variabel kovariat kecemasan matematis terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis.(3) p – value = 0,011 < α =0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dengan kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh secara simultan model pembelajaran STEAM dan kecemasan matematis terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep. Kata Kunci :Model Pembelajaran STEAM, Kecemasan Matematis dan Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis iv ABSTRACT The ability to understand mathematical concepts in learning mathematics is an ability to master the material as well as to understand, master and apply it in the process of learning mathematics. This research is a type of Quasi Experimental Design research. The sample in this study were students of class X MAN 1 North Lampung. The sampling technique applied is cluster random sampling with relation and function material. The instruments used to collect data were a mathematical anxiety questionnaire and a test of the ability to understand mathematical concepts. Testing the hypothesis using analysis of covariance (one-way ancova), with a significant level of 5% obtained (1) p – value = 0.038 < α = 0.05 so that H0 is rejected with the conclusion that there is an influence of the STEAM learning model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts by controlling mathematical anxiety. (2) p – value = 0.035 < α = 0.05 so that H0 is rejected with the conclusion that there is an influence of the covariate variable of mathematical anxiety on the ability to understand mathematical concepts. (3) p – value = 0.011 < α = 0.05 so that H0 rejected with the conclusion that there is a simultaneous influence of the STEAM learning model and mathematical anxiety on the ability to understand concepts.
