Abstract

ABSTRAK Metode Exponential Smoothing (penghalusan eksponensial) merupakan salah satu bagian dari teknik deret waktu yang meramalkan menggunakan pembobotan data historis. Dengan adanya, metode Exponential Smoothing dapat membantu memperkirakan suatu data dimasa yang akan datang seperti peramalan produksi perkebunan dan luas areal perkebunan, Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menentukan peramalan pada produksi perkebunan dan luas areal perkebunan serta mendapatkan teknik terbaik dari metode Exponential Smoothing yang dapat digunakan dalam peramalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data sekunder. Data sekunder ialah data yang dikumpulkan secara tidak langsung, data yang diperoleh untuk penelitian didapatkan dari website BPS Provinsi Lampung dengan populasi data luas areal perkebunan dan data jumlah produksi perkebunan, serta sampel yang digunakan ialah data historis selama 20 tahun. Analisis luas areal perkebunan dan produksi perkebunan dengan metode Exponential Smoothing menggunakan aplikasi Software R dalam perhitungan peramalannya. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh peramalan pada luas areal perkebunan dan produksi perkebunan di Provinsi Lampung selama 10 tahun kedepan dengan grafik peramalan naik dan turun. Selain itu teknik terbaik dari metode Exponential Smoothing yang dapat digunakan dalam peramalan ialah Teknik Single Exponential Smoothing dan Double Exponential Smoothing dikarenakan menghasilkan nilai MAPE yang rendah. Sehingga memperoleh nilai peramalan dengan tingkat ketelitian yang tinggi. With this, the Exponential Smoothing method can help predict future data such as forecasting plantation production and plantation area. The purpose of this research is to determine forecasting on plantation production and plantation area and get the best technique from the Exponential Smoothing method that can used in forecasting. This study uses secondary data collection techniques. Secondary data is data collected indirectly, data obtained for research obtained from the Lampung Province BPS website with a population of data on plantation area and data on the amount of plantation production, and the sample used is historical data for 20 years. Analysis of plantation area and plantation production using the Exponential Smoothing method uses the Software R application in forecasting calculations. From the results of the study, forecasts were obtained for the area of plantations and plantation production in Lampung Province for the next 10 years with forecasting graphs of ups and downs. In addition, the best technique of the Exponential Smoothing method that can be used in forecasting is the Single Exponential Smoothing and Double Exponential Smoothing Techniques because they produce low MAPE values.
