Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan bahan ajar berbentuk majalah berbasis pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning kelas V SD/MI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan, kelayakan, tanggapan siswa dan efektifitas bahan ajar berbentuk majalah berbasis pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning kelas V SD/MI. Bahan ajar merupakan bagian penting dalam pembelajaran, namun bahan ajar yang ditemui sejauh ini masih kurang bervariasi, seperti yang banyak ditemui saat ini bahan ajar yang ada hanya berupa modul, buku paket dan LKS. Berkaitan dengan itu, maka diperlukan penelitian dengan pengembangan bahan ajar baru yang lebih variatif dan ringan untuk peserta didik SD/MI kelas V. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) berdasarkan model 4D yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan yang terdiri dari Define, Design, Development, Dissemination. Sebelum media digunakan, dilakukan validasi oleh ahli media, materi dan bahasa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiah 1 Bandar Lampung dan MI Masyariqul Anwar Durian Payung. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan teknik wawancara, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dengan pengembangan bahan ajar majalah berbasis CTL menunjukan bagaimana bahan ajar majalah yang dibuat kemudian memperoleh kriteria sangat layak dengan persentase 85% dari ahli media, 92 % dari ahli materi dan 80% dari ahli bahasa, serta penilaian dari pendidik memperoleh persentase 88,75% dan dari peserta didik memperoleh persentase 95% sehingga berdasarkan penilaian tersebut, maka bahan ajar majalah mendapatkan tanggapan yang baik dari peserta didik maupun dari pendidik. This study aims to determine how the development, feasibility, student responses and effectiveness of teaching materials in the form of magazines based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach of class V SD/MI. Teaching materials are an important part of learning, but the teaching materials encountered so far are still less varied, as many are found today only in the form of modules, package books and LKS. In this regard, research is needed with the development of new teaching materials that are more varied and lighter for elementary SD/ MI class V. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) based on a 4D model developed by Thiagarajan consisting of Define, Design, Development, Dissemination. Before the media is used, validation is carried out by media, material and language experts. The subjects of this study were grade V students of SD Muhammadiah 1 Bandar Lampung and MI Masyariqul Anwar Durian Payung. Research data were obtained by interview, questionnaire, test, and documentation techniques. The results of research with the development of CTL-based magazine teaching materials show how magazine teaching materials made then obtain very feasible criteria with a percentage of 85% from media experts, 92% from material experts and 80% from linguists, and assessments from educators get a percentage of 88.75% and from students get a percentage of 95% so that based on these assessments, magazine teaching materials get good responses from students and from educators.
