Abstract

ABSTRAK Skripsi ini mengkaji tentang Makna Filosofis Adat Ngebei Ngelakei Lampung Pepadun (Studi di Desa Bakung Udik Kecamatan Gedung Meneng Kabupaten Tulang Bawang). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan Ngebei Ngelakei yang merupakan suatu tradisi dimana pihak laki-laki akan melarikan gadis yang dibawa ketempat keluarga laki-laki. Dalam hal ini dapat terjadi setelah ada kesepakatan antara bujang dan gadis, namun pihak keluarga gadis tidak mengetahuinya. Apabila pihak keluarga gadis tidak mengetahui, biasanya dilakukan sewaktu gadis sedang diluar rumah. Ngebei Ngelakei sering kali disalah artikan dengan istilah “Kawin Lari”. Sehingga citra adat Lampung ini menjadi kurang baik dimata masyarakat diluar suku Lampung yang jelas kurang memahami makna sesungguhnya dari arti adat Ngebei Ngelakei. Ngebei Ngelakei dalam adat Lampung yang mengatur pernikahan gadis dan bujang ke rumah paman atau bibinya untuk meminta persetujuan dari orang tua si gadis, melalui musyawarah adat antara kepala adat dengan kedua orang tua bujang dan gadis, sehingga diambil kesepakatan dan persetujuan antara kedua orang tua tersebut. Ini merupakan tradisi di masyarakat asli Lampung, budaya yang sudah mengakar sejak jaman nenek moyang Pepadun dan Saibatin. Ngebei Ngelakei skripsi ini pun akan berujung pernikahan sebagaimana biasa jika kedua pihak keluarga menyetujuinya. Pihak laki-laki juga tetap memberikan mahar atau pemberian kepada pihak perempuan. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research) yaitu penelitian berada langsung pada objeknya, terutama dalam usaha untuk mengumpulkan data dan berbagai informasi. penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam metode deskriptif kualitatif pada bidang filsafat, yaitu metode dalam meneliti suatu objek, baik berupa nilai-nilai budaya manusia, sistem pemikiran filsafat, nilai-nilai etika, nilai karya seni sekelompok manusia, peristiwa atau objek budaya lainnya. Temuan dari Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa : 1) pelaksanaan Tradisi Ngebei Ngelakei dalam adat Lampung Pepadun di Desa Bakung Udik Kecamatan Gedung Meneng yakni yakni dimana pihak laki-laki akan melarikan gadis yang dibawa ketempat keluarga laki-laki. Dalam hal ini dapat terjadi telah ada kesepakatan antara bujang dan gadis, namun pihak keluarga gadis tidak mengetahuinya. Apabila pihak keluarga gadis tidak mengetahui, biasanya dilakukan sewaktu gadis sedang diluar rumah. Apabila rencana larian memang sudah disepakati dahuluoleh bujang dan gadis, biasanya gadis sudah membuat surat sebagai pemberitahuan dan uang peninggalan (duit tengepik/Sigeh) kepadapihak keluarga dan akan ditinggal dikamarnya sewaktu dia pergi. Adapun prosesi-prosesi dalam penyelesaian yang harus dilewati dalam adat Ngebei Ngelakei Lampung Pepadun : a. Pengunduran Senjato/Ngatak Salah, b. Bebalah atau Bawasan, c. Ngatak Dau, d. Manjau Mengiyan atau Cakak Mengiyan, e. Sujut atau Sungkem, f. Pengadau Rasan dan Cuak Mengan, g. Sesan. 2) Makna Filosofi Ngebei Ngelakei ini dia jelas tidak adanya keterpaksaan memang atas dasar bujang gadisnya mau sama mau, kedua adanya musyawarah sebelum dilaksakanannya pernikahan, ketiga yang lebih jelas lagi adanya wali dan saksi yang menghadiri pernikahan bujang gadis tersebut jadi cukup jelas ya kurang pas karena memaksakan kehendak. Karena kerap terjadi akibat tidak direstui oleh orang tua maka terjadilah Ngebei Ngelakei. Ngebei Ngelakei itu secara etika terlepas dari hukum Islam, hukum Negara maupun hukum adat disitu memang kurang pas tapi kehendak daripada bujang dan gadis ini apakah disitu dipaksa atau tidak dipaksa ini menjadi permasalahan yang bias tinggal kita yang menyimpulkan kemana arahnya yang bagus. Kata kunci : tradisi ngebei ngelakei, perspektif filsafat. ABSTRACT This thesis examines about Indigenous Philosophical Meaning Ngebei Ngelakei Lampung Pepadun (Study in Bakung Udik Village, Meneng Building District, Tulang Bawang Regency).This research is motivated by Ngebei Ngelakei which is a tradition where the man will run away the girl who is brought to the man's family. In this case it can happen after there is an agreement between the bachelor and the girl, but the girl's family doesn't know about it. When the girl's family does not know, it is usually done when the girl is out of the house. If the running plan has already been agreed upon by the bachelor and the girl, usually the girl has written a letter as a notification and legacy money (Penepik money) to the family and will be left in her room before she/the girl leaves.Ngebei Ngelakei often confused with the term "elope". So that the traditional image of Lampung is not good in the eyes of people outside the Lampung tribe who clearly do not understand the real meaning of the meaning of adat Ngebei Ngelakei. Ngebei Ngelakei in Lampung custom which regulates the marriage of girls and bachelors to the house of their uncle or aunt to seek approval from the girl's parents, through customary deliberations between the adat head and the parents of the single and the girl, so that an agreement and agreement is reached between the two parents. This is a tradition in the indigenous people of Lampung, a culture that has been rooted since the days of their ancestors Pepadun and Saibatin. Ngebei Ngelakei thesis this will also lead to marriage as usual if both families agree. The man also continues to give a dowry or gift to the woman. The research used in this research is field research (field research) namely research is directly on the object, especially in an effort to collect data and various information. This research belongs to the qualitative descriptive method in the field of philosophy, namely the method of researching an object, whether in the form of human cultural values, systems of philosophical thought, ethical values, the value of works of art by a group of people, events or other cultural objects. The findings from the results of this study indicate that: 1) implementation of Tradition Ngebei Ngelakei in the Lampung Pepadun custom in Bakung Udik Village, Meneng Building District, namely where the boy will run away from the girl who is brought to the boy's family. In this case, there may have been an agreement between the bachelor and the girl, but the girl's family does not know about it. If the girl's family doesn't know, it is usually done when the girl is out of the house. If the escape plan has been agreed upon in advance by the boy and girl, usually the girl has written a letter as notification and leftover money (tengepik/sigeh money) to the family and will leave it in her room when she leaves. As for the processions in completion that must be passed in custom Ngebei Ngelakei Lampung Pepadun: a. Arms Resignation / Not Wrong, b. Bebalah or Basana, c. Don't do it Dau, d. Manjau Mengiyan or Cakak Mengiyan, It is. Sujut or Sungkem, f. Complaint of feeling and Cuak Mengan, g. Sixth. 2) The Meaning of Philosophy Ngebei Ngelakei This is clear, there is no compulsion, indeed on the basis that the girl is single and willing, secondly, there is deliberation before the marriage is carried out, thirdly, what is even more clear is that there are guardians and witnesses who attended the girl's bachelor wedding. Because it often occurs as a result of not being approved by the parents then it happens Ngebei Ngelakei. Ngebei Ngelakei That is ethically apart from Islamic law, state law and customary law there is not right, but the will of the bachelor and the girl whether they were forced or not forced there is a problem that can only be left for us to conclude which direction is good.
