Abstract

ABSTRAK Perlunya mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi abad ke 21 yaitu dengan adanya keterampilan guna menjawab tantangan perkembangan zaman. Melalui penerapan metode take and give, diharapkan mampu mengajak siswa lebih aktif dan mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode take and give dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa pada mata pelajaran SKI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah bersifat kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan tringulasi data. Hasil peneltian ditemukan bahwa Guru di MTs N 2 Bandar Lampung telah menerapkan metode take and give dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa sesuai dengan langkah-langkah tersebut. Namun terdapat kekurangan pada tahapan metode take and give dikarenakan keterbatasan waktu. Adapun perkembangan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa sudah mulai berkembang dan terealisasikan dengan baik. Namun terdapat indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang perlu dilatih dan dibiasakan. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya siswa yang pemalu, ragu-ragu dan kurang percaya diri, tetapi hal tersebut dapat diatasi dengan peran guru yang selalu memberikan motivasi dan berkeliling membantu siswa di kelas. Faktor pendukung metode take and give adalah mudah diaplikasikan dan mengembangkan rasa keingintahuan siswa, serta membantu siswa untuk aktif saat belajar. Faktor penghambat metode take and give adalah kurang fokusnya siswa karena tidak disiplin, serta kurangnya waktu pembelajaran yang tersedia. Through the application of the take and give method, it is expected to be able to invite students to be more active and develop creative thinking skills. This study aims to describe the application of the take and give method in developing students' creative thinking skills SKI subject at MTs N 2 Bandar Lampung. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data triangulation. The results of the study found that the SKI teacher at MTs N 2 Bandar Lampung had applied the take and give method in developing students' creative thinking skills according to these steps. However, there are shortcomings in the take and give method stages due to time constraints. The development of students' creative thinking skills has begun to develop and be realized well. However, there are indicators of creative thinking skills that need to be trained and accustomed. This is because there are students who are shy, indecisive and lack self�confidence, but this can be overcome by the role of the teacher who always motivates and goes around helping students in class. The supporting factor for the take and give method is that it is easy to apply and develops students' curiosity, and helps students to be active while learning. The inhibiting factor for the take and give method is the lack of student focus because they are not disciplined, the facilities and infrastructure are not maximized, and the lack of available learning time.
