Abstract

ABSTRAK Skripsi ini berjudul Konsep Seni sastra Muhammad Iqbal dan relevansinya dengan era kontemporer.Adapun masalah pokok yang terdapat dalam skripsi ini adalah bagaimana konsep seni sastra Muhammad Iqbal.Metode yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan corak library reseach dan menggunakan pendekatan filosofis. Seni menurut Muhammad Iqbal adalah sinonim dari ciptaan, dan ciptaan mengandung sesuatu yang baru, entah cara pengungkapannya, paduan unsur-unsurnya, ataupun tema pokok serta perluasan makna dari tema pokoknya. Pandangan Iqbal tentang seni tidak dapat di lepaskan dari filsafatnya, khususnya filsafat khudinya, atau yang sering disebut dengan filsafat ego atau diri. Seni sebagai ekspresi dari kehendak, hasrat, dan cinta sang Ego yang muncul dari dorongan hidup yang berdenyut di balik kehidupan sehingga harus juga memberikan kehidupan baru atau memberikan semangat hidup bagi lingkungannya, atau bahkan mampu memberikan ―hal baru‖ bagi kehidupan.Tuhan sebagai Ego tertinggi atau kemauan abadi adalah hakikat terakhir. amanat dalam puisi-puisi Iqbal mengandung gagasan pembaharuan Islam yang radikal, ia ingin mendobrak kejumudan pemikiran yang terjadi terutama pada masa Muhammad Iqbal. Semangat luar biasa didengungkan oleh Muhammad Iqbal untuk benar-benar kembali kepada ajaran Islam itu sendiri, seperti menggali kembali al-Qur‘an dan berpegang tegung dengannya, tidak hanya sebagai bacaan tanpa memahami inti dan isi darinya, tapi mampu mempraktekkannya dalam kehidupan nyata. Semangat kembali pada Al-Qur‘an selalu ia suarakan dalam banyak puisi-puisinya, semangat inilah yang mampu membuat muslim kembali kepada kemajuan, menggalinya tidak hanya mensucikannya, sebagaimana dalam bait. Kata kunci: Muhammad Iqbal, seni sastra, relevansi era kontemporer. ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled The Concept of Literary Art of Muhammad Iqbal and its relevance to the contemporary era. The main problem contained in this thesis is how the concept of Muhammad Iqbal's literary art. The method used in this thesis is a qualitative method with a library research style and uses a philosophical approach. Art according to Muhammad Iqbal is a synonym of creation, and creation contains something new, whether it is the way it is expressed, the combination of its elements, or the main theme and expansion of the meaning of the main theme. Iqbal's views on art cannot be separated from his philosophy, especially his spiritual philosophy, or what is often referred to as ego or self philosophy. Art as an expression of the will, desire, and love of the Ego that arises from the life force that pulsates behind life so that it must also give new life or give a zest for life to its environment, or even be able to provide "new things" for life. God as the highest Ego or eternal will is the ultimate essence. the message in Iqbal's poems contains the idea of radical Islamic renewal, he wants to break the stagnation of thought that occurred especially during the time of Muhammad Iqbal. Muhammad Iqbal echoed the extraordinary enthusiasm to really return to the teachings of Islam itself, such as digging back up the Koran and sticking to it, not only as reading without understanding the essence and content of it, but being able to practice it in real life. He always echoes the spirit of returning to the Qur'an in many of his poems. It is this spirit that is able to make Muslims return to progress, to dig it up, not only to purify it, as in the verses.
