Abstract

ABSTRAK URGENSI SABAR PADA WARGA BINAAN PEMASYARAKATAN DALAM MENGHADAPI STRES PENGASUHAN DI LAPAS PEREMPUAN KELAS II A BANDAR LAMPUNG Oleh: Leli Liviya Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan yang mengasuh anak di dalam Lapas sangat rentan mengalami stres pengasuhan dikarenakan ruang gerak yang terbatas, perasaan terisolasi dan kontaminasi dari warga binaan lain. Untuk itu dibutuhkan karakteristik dalam diri warga binaan dalam mereduksi stres pengasuhan yang memunculkan tekanan psikologis melalui sabar yang berperan dalam pengendalian diri dari emosi dan perilaku negatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dinamika stres pengasuhan dan kesabaran warga binaan yang mengasuh anak di Lapas. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan sebanyak 3 warga binaan yang mengasuh anak di dalam Lapas. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis data kualitatif model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dinamika stres pengasuhan pada warga binaan berasal dari aspek pengalaman stres orang tua, perasaan terisolasi secara sosial, kesehatan orang tua, kemampuan adaptasi anak, dan kelekatan anak dengan orang tua. Kesabaran warga binaan yang mengasuh anak di Lapas adalah menerima takdir Allah, berprasangka baik, ikhlas, pasrah, bersyukur, optimis serta selalu melindungi, mendidik dan menguatkan anak. Kata Kunci: Stres pengasuhan, Sabar, Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan ABSTRACT THE URGENCY OF PATIENCE IN PRISONERS IN DEALING WITH THE PARENTING STRESS IN LAPAS PEREMPUAN KELAS II A BANDAR LAMPUNG By: Leli Liviya Prisoners who take care of children in correctional institutions are very vulnerable to experiencing parenting stress due to limited space for movement, feelings of isolation, and contamination from other prisoners. For this reason, specific characteristics are needed in the inmates to reduce parenting stress, which creates psychological pressure through patience. Patience plays a role in self-control of negative emotions and behavior. This study aims to explore the dynamics of parenting stress and the patience of prisoner who take care of children in correctional institutions. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects used were three inmates who took care of children in correctional institutions. The data were analyzed using the qualitative data analysis model of Miles and Huberman. The results of the study show that the dynamics of parenting stress in inmates arise from aspects such as parents' stressful experiences, feelings of social isolation, parents' health, children's adaptability, and children's attachment to parents. The patience of inmates who care for children in correctional institutions is to accept God's destiny, have good prejudices, be sincere, surrender, be grateful, be optimistic, and always protect, educate, and strengthen children.
