Abstract

ABSTRAK Pasien skizofrenia adalah pasien yang tidak dapat beromunikasi baik dengan orang lain, mereka enggan bersosialisasi dan lebih memilih menyendiri. Seperti yang ada di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Provinsi Lampung terdapat pasien skizofrenia yang mengalami isolasi mandiri atau suka menyendiri. Sehingga mereka tidak mau berkomunikasi dengan orang lain, maka dari itu perlu dilakukan komunikasi terapeutik di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Provinsi Lampung yang dilakukan oleh perawat dangan pasien skizofrenia yang tujuan agar pasien skizofrenia dapat bekomunikasi dengan orang lain. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik antara perawat dan pasien skizofrenia. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian lapangan (field research) yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif yaitu mendeskripsikan secara lengkap data yang diperoleh dari lapangan (field research). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling, adapun pada penelitian ini berjumlah 4 orang yang terdiri dari 2 orang perawat pelaksana dan 2 orang pasien skizofrenia dengan tingkat kesadaran sedang. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data serta kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa, perawat pelaksana di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Provinsi Lampung bertugas agar pasien skizofrenia dapat menerima keadaan diri, membangun hubungan interpersonal, meningkatkan fungsi kemampuan diri, dan memiliki rasa percaya diri. Hal tersebut dilakukan melalui 4 tahap yaitu pertama, tahap pra-interaksi adalah tahap dimana perawat pelaksana memperkenalkan diri kepada pasien agar pasien tersebut mengetahui nama perawat yang akan merawatnya selama ia berada di Ruang Nuri, kedua, tahap orientasi adalah perawat pelaksana mempersiapkan diri, memahami kode etik keperawatan di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Provinsi Lampung, menggunakan seragam dan melakukan kontrak waktu dengan pasien skizofrenia serta pasien dipersilahkan untuk memberikan pertanyaan�pertanyaan kepada perawat, ketiga, tahap kerja adalah perawat pelaksana iii melakukan komunikasi terapeutik yang dilakukan dengan beberapa metode yaitu metode verbal seperti pesan konkret serta sinyal dan isyarat. Selanjutnya dalam komunikasi terapeutik ini juga terdapat metode non verbal seperti ekspresi wajah dan sikap tubuh, isyarat vokal, kontak mata, dan tingkat makna. Selain itu pada komunikasi terapeutik ini juga terdapat beberapa teknik komunikasi yaitu pertanyaan terbuka, mengulang ucapan pasien, klarifikasi, memberi saran, serta memberi hiburan kepada pasien skizofrenia, tahapan keempat, tahap terminasi adalah perawat pelaksana mengevaluasi pencapaian tujuan dan interaksi yang telah dilakukan di Ruang Nuri melalui format penilaian supervisi komunikasi terapeutik. Kata Kunci : Komunikasi, Terapeutik, Pasien Skizofrenia. iv ABSTRACT Schizophrenic patients are patients who cannot communicate well with other people, they are reluctant to socialize and prefer to be alone. As in the Lampung Provincial Mental Hospital,there are schizophrenic patients who experience independent isolation or like to be alone. So that they don't want to communicate with other people, therapeutic communication at the Regional Mental Hospital in Lampung Proovince which is carried out by nurses with schizophrenic patients with the aim that schizophrenic patients can communicate with other people. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of implementing therapeutic communication between nurses and schizophrenic patiients. This research includes field research (field research) which is descriptive qualitative in nature, which describes in full the data obtained from the field (field research). Data collection is done by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data source in this study used purposive sampling, while in this study there were 4 people consisting of 2 executive nurses and 2 schizophrenic patients with moderate levels of awareness. Data analysis in this study used several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. From the results of the study it was found that the implementation nurse at the Regional Mental Hospital in Lampung Province was tasked with making schizophrenic patients able to accepting self-circumstances, building interpersonal relationships, improving self-ability funcrions, and having self-confidence. This is done through 4 stages: first, the pre�interaction stage is the stage where the nurse introduces herself to the patients so that the name of the nurse who will care for him while he is in the Nuri Room, second, the orientation stage is the nurse implementing nurses prepare themselves, understand the code of ethics for nursing at the Regional Mental Hospital in Lampung Province, wear uniforms and implementing a time contract with a schizophrenic patient and the patient is welcome to ask questions to nurses, third, the working stage is the therapeutic communication which is carried out by several methods, namely verbal methods such as concrete messages as well as singnals and cues. Furthermore, in this therapeutic communication there are also non-verbal methods such as facial expressions and gestures, vocal ceus, eye contact, and levels of meaning. Apart from that, in this therapeutic v communication, there are also several communication techniques, namely open questations, repeating the patient's words, clarifying, giving suggestions, and providing entertainments to schizophrenic patients.
