Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah terhadap HOTS melalui kemampuan berpikir kreatif baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian analisis jalur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 07 Bandar Lampung kelas VIII.1-VIII.5. penarikan sampel menggunakan metode stratified random sampling dengan rumus slovin dan diperoleh jumlah responden sebanyak 99 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill). Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat hubungan langsung antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill), (2) terdapat hubungan langsung kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan HOTS, (3) terdapat hubungan langsung antara HOTS terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, (4) ada hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, (5) ada hubungan langsung antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, (6) ada hubungan langsung antara kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah melalui HOTS, (7) ada hubungan langsung antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah melalui HOTS. Berdasarkan pengujian lima model analisis jalur yang telah dilakukan di atas maka peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa model yang terbaik adalah model yang kedua yaitu “Hubungan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Dan Kreatif Terhadap Hots Serta Dampaknya Pada Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah” karena terdapat hubungan langsung yang signifikan antar variabel dan terdapat hubungan tidak langsung melalui variabel HOTS sebagai variabel intervening. Kata Kunci : Berpikir kritis, Kreatif, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah dan HOTS. iii ABSTRACT This study aims to look at the relationship between critical thinking skills and problem-solving with HOTS through creative thinking skills, both directly and indirectly. The approach used in this research is quantitative with the type of path analysis research. The population in this study were students of SMP Negeri 07 Bandar Lampung grades VIII.1-VIII.5. sampling using stratified random sampling method with the Slovin formula and obtained the number of respondents as many as 99 students. The instruments used in data collection were tests of critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills). The results in this study are (1) there is a direct relationship between critical thinking skills and HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills), (2) there is a direct relationship between creative thinking skills and HOTS, (3) there is a direct relationship between HOTS and problem-solving abilities, ( 4) there is a relationship between critical thinking ability and problem-solving ability, (5) there is a direct relationship between creative thinking ability and problem-solving ability, (6) there is a direct relationship between critical thinking ability and problem-solving ability through HOTS, (7) there is a relationship directly between the ability to think creatively to the ability to solve problems through HOTS. Based on the testing of the five path analysis models that have been carried out above, the researcher concludes that the best model is the second model, namely "Relationship of Critical and Creative Thinking Ability to Hots and Their Impact on Problem-Solving Ability" because there is a significant direct relationship between variables and there is a relationship indirectly through the HOTS variable as an intervening variable.
