Abstract

ABSTRAK Hubungan Antara Komparasi Sosial dan Perfeksionisme Dengan Body Dissatisfaction Pada Mahasiswi Oleh : Azmi Farida Body Dissatisfaction merupakan suatu ketidakpuasan terhadap bentuk tubuh yang dimiliki individu, yang mana ketidakpuasan tersebut hasil dari individu berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sekitarnya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komparasi sosial dan perfeksionisme dengan body dissatisfaction pada mahasiswi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam angkatan 2020 sebanyak 668 Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik purposive sampling kemudian didapatkan 82 mahasiswi sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala body dissatisfaction, skala komparasi sosial, dan skala perfeksionisme. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi berganda dua predictor dibantu dengan software SPSS version 25.0 or windows. Hasil penelitian dapat dilihat dari nilai R = 0.797 dan nilai F = 68.555 dengan taraf signifikansi >0.01yang berarti ada hubungan antara komparasi sosial dan perfeksionisme dengan body dissatisfaction pada mahasiswi. kemudian nilai (rx1-y) = 0.757 dengan p<0.001 dengan sumbangan efektif 48.3 % sehingga ada hubungan antara komparasi sosial dengan body dissatisfaction. Hasil nilai (rx2-y) = 0.550 dengan nilai p<0.001, dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 15.1%. Sehingga terdapat hubungan antara perfeksionisme dengan body dissatisfaction Kata Kunci : Body Dissatisfaction, Komparasi Sosial, Perfeksionisme. ABSTRACT Relationship Between Social Comparison and Perfectionism with Body Dissatisfaction in College Students By : Azmi Farida Body Dissatisfaction is a dissatisfaction with the body shape of an individual, where the dissatisfaction results from the individual interacting with the surrounding environment. This study aims to determine the relationship between social comparison and perfectionism with body dissatisfaction in female students. The population in this study were 668 students of the Islamic Faculty of Economics and Business class of 2020. This study used a quantitative method with a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling technique, and then obtained 82 female students as samples. Data collection techniques in this study used the body dissatisfaction scale, social comparison scale, and perfectionism scale. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with two predictors assisted by SPSS version 25.0 for windows software. The results of the study can be seen from the value of R = 0.797 and the value of F = 68.555 with a significance level of > 0.01, which means there is a relationship between social comparison and perfectionism with body dissatisfaction in female students. then the value (rx1-y) = 0.757 with p <0.001 with an effective contribution of 48.3% so that there is a relationship between social comparison and body dissatisfaction. The resulting value (rx2-y) = 0.550 with a value of p <0.001, with an effective contribution of 15.1%.
