Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengembangan E-Majalah Biologi Berbasis Contextual Teaching And Learning Pada Kearifan Lokal Suku Minang Terhadap Literasi Sains Peserta Didik Kelas VII SMP OLEH: MIRDA SABILA Media pembelajaran IPA di SMP N 1 IV Jurai pada materi ekosistem berupa buku paket dan LKS belum terdapat media pembelajaran elektronik yang mendukung pembelajaran mengaitkan dengan kehidupan nyata dan alam sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-majalah biologi berbasis Contextual Teaching Learning pada kearifan lokal suku minang dalam meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik. Jenis penelitian R&D (research and development) metode pengembangan dari Borg and Gall dengan 9 tahapan yang sudah disederhanakan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrument penelitian angket para ahli (materi, media, dan bahasa), angket tanggapan (pendidik dan peserta didik), soal literasi sains, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kelayakan e-majalah biologi berbasis contextual teaching and learning pada kearifan lokal suku minang mendapatkan presentase rata rata validator ahli materi sebesar 89%, ahli media 98%, dan ahli bahasa 82% sehingga memiliki kriteria ―Sangat Layak‖. Sedangkan untuk respon pendidik sebesar 98% dan respon peserta didik sebesar 89% dengan kriteria ―Sangat Menarik‖. Kemudian keefektifan dilihat dari hasil uji-T independen yaitu menghasilkan Thitung sebesar 13.879 sedangkan Ttabel 2.005 dengan rata-rata nilai N-Gain pre-test dan post-test literasi sains peserta didik kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari kelas kontrol yaitu sebesar 0.82 dan kelas kontrol 0.58. Dengan demikian media e-majalah biologi berbasis Contextual teaching and learning pada kearifan lokal suku minang terdapat pengaruh terhadap kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik dan sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. In this study using questionnaire research instruments of experts (material, media, and language), response questionnaires (educators and students), questions of scientific literacy, and documentation. Based on the results of the feasibility study of e-magazine biology based on contextual teaching and learning on the local wisdom of the Minang tribe, the average percentage of material expert validators is 89%, media experts are 98%, and linguists are 82% so that they have the criteria of "Very Eligible". Meanwhile, the teacher's response was 98% and the student's response was 89% with the "Very Interesting" criteria. Then the effectiveness is seen from the results of the independent T-test, namely producing a Tcount of 13,879 while a Ttable of 2,005 with an average N-Gain value of pre-test and post-test scientific literacy of students in the experimental class is greater than the control class, which is equal to 0.82 and the control class is 0.58 . Thus the Biology e-magazine media based on Contextual teaching and learning on the local wisdom of the Minang tribe has an influence on students' scientific literacy abilities and is very suitable to be used as a learning medium.
