Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital book menggunakan Book creator terhadap kemampuan penalaran dan analisis matematis pada materi garis singgung lingkaran. untuk mengetahui respons guru dan peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran digital book dan tingkat keefektifan media tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development dengan model penelitian ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Pada tahap Development melibatkan 6 validator yang terdiri dari tiga validator materi dan tiga validator media untuk menilai kelayakan materi dan media yang baik dan benar. Tahap Implementation melibatkan 45 peserta didik (15 peserta didik uji coba kelompok kecil dan 30 peserta didik uji coba kelompok besar). Penilaian kemenarikan media digital book materi garis singgung lingkaran menggunakan angket yaitu angket validator dan angket peserta didik. Dan uji keefektifan media digital book menggunakan soal pretest dan soal posttest. Hasil validasi ahli materi dari tiga validator menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan produk memperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,5 dan hasil validasi ahli media secara keseluruhan dari tiga validator mendapatkan hasil rata-rata sebesar 3,6. Sementara uji coba kelompok kecil dari 15 peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Katibung diperoleh hasil kemenarikan nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,7. Sedangkan uji coba kelompok besar dengan 30 peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Katibung diperoleh hasil kemenarikan nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,6. Untuk uji keefektifan menggunakan uji N-gain mendapatkan nilai N-gain yaitu 56,94 dengan kriteria “Cukup Efektif”. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media digital book menggunakan book creator pada materi garis singgung lingkaran sangat layak dan sangat menarik untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata kunci: digital book, book creator, garis singgung lingkaran, penalaran, analisis matematis. iv ABSTRACT This study aims to develop a digital learning media called "digital book" using Book creator to enhance students' reasoning and mathematical analysis abilities in the topic of tangent lines to circles. It also aims to determine the responses of teachers and students towards the digital book learning media and its effectiveness. The research follows the Research and Development methodology with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) research model. During the Development phase, six validators, consisting of three subject matter experts and three media experts, assessed the suitability and correctness of the material and media. The Implementation phase involved 45 students, with 15 students participating in a small-group pilot test and 30 students participating in a large-group pilot test. The evaluation of the digital book's attractiveness in teaching the topic of tangent lines to circles was conducted using questionnaires for both the validators and the students. Additionally, the effectiveness of the digital book was assessed using pretest and posttest questions. The results of the validation by the three subject matter experts showed an overall average score of 3.5 for the product, while the validation by the three media experts yielded an overall average score of 3.6. The small-group pilot test with 15 students from SMP Negeri 1 Katibung obtained an average attractiveness score of 3.7, while the large-group pilot test with 30 students from SMP Negeri 1 Katibung obtained an average attractiveness score of 3.6. The effectiveness test using the N-gain test yielded an N-gain value of 56.94, indicating a "Moderately Effective" level. Thus, it can be concluded that the development of the digital book using Book creator for teaching tangent lines to circles is highly suitable and engaging for the learning process.
