Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian yang dilakukan di SMP NEGERI 1 Way Jepara diperoleh hasil bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model Discovery Learning tidak dilakukan sesuai sintaks membuat peserta didik kurang dalam mengembangkan kemampuan literasi sains dan self efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model self organized learning environment terdadap kemampuan literasi sains dan self efficacy peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Biologi materi Interaksi Makhluk Hidup dan Lingkungannya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan dengan metode Quasy Experimental. Teknik pengumpulan sampel menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling dari seluruh peserta didik kelas VII di SMP NEGERI 1 Way Jepara, didapatkan sampel yaitu kelas VII.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII.3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dua kali yaitu tes awal (pretest) dan tes akhir (posttest) menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes kemampuan literasi sains yang telah dilakukan uji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya beda dan angket self efficacy dengan skala likert yang telah dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas sehingga instrumen telah layak digunakan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji t Independent. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model self organized learning environment terhadap kemampuan literasi sains dan self efficacy peserta didik dengan perolehan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05. Kesimpulannya yaitu (1) Terdapat pengaruh model self organized learning environment terhadap kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik di SMP NEGERI 1 Way Jepara (2) Terdapat pengaruh model self organized learning environment terhadap self efficacy peserta didik di SMP NEGERI 1 Way Jepara Kata Kunci : Interaksi Makhluk Hidup ,Literasi Sains,Model Self Organized Learning Environment, Self Efficacy iii ABSTRACT Based on the results of pre-research condutucted at SMP NEGERI 1 Way Jepara,it was found that learning using the Discovery Learning model was not carried out according to syntax ,making students less able to develop scientific literacy skills and self efficacy.This study aims to determine the effect of the self organized learning environment model on the ability of scientific literacy and self efficacy of students in the subject of Biology subject to the Interaction of Living Thing anad Their Environment. This research is a quantitative research with the Quasy Experimental method .The sample collection technique used Cluster Random Sampling from all VII grade students at SMP NEGERI 1 Way Jepara,the samples were obtained, namely class VII.1 as the experimental class and class VII.3 as the control class. Data collection was carried out twice, namely the initial test (pretest) and the final test (posttest) using research instruments in the form of scientific literacy ability test questions that had been tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and differentiating power and a self-efficacy questionnaire with a Likert scale that had been carried out test the validity and reliability so that the instrument is feasible to use. Data analysis techniques using the Independent t test. The results showed that there was a significant influence of the self-organized learning environment model on students' scientific literacy skills and self-efficacy with a significant score of 0.000 <0.05. The conclusions are (1) There is an influence of the self-organized learning environment model on the scientific literacy skills of students at SMP NEGERI 1 Way Jepara (2) There is an influence of the model of self-organized learning environment on the self-efficacy of students at SMP NEGERI 1 Way Jepara Keywords : Interaction of Living Things, Scientific Literacy, Self Organized Learning Environment Model, Self Efficacy
