Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian yang dilaksanakan di MAN Lampung Barat kegiatan pembelajaran biologi perlu adanya keterbaruan dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik masih rendah. Dapat dilihat dari antusiasme peserta didik peserta didik dalam menjawab pertanyaan dari guru. Hal ini dikarenakan penggunaan model pembelajaran yang kurang sesuai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran cooperative script berbantu mind mapping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Quasy Experimental Design. Desain yang digunakan yaitu Pretest Postest Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tes, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA MAN Lampung Barat. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik acak kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan kelas, satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen (XI IPA ) dan satu kelas lainnya sebagai kelas Kontrol (XI IPA ). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data didapatlah rata-rata nilai pada kelas eksperimen pretest sebesar dan posttest sebesar . Sementara pada kelas kontrol didapatlah rata-rata pretest sebesar dan n gain posttest sebesar uji t independent kemampuan berpikir kritis menunjukan bahwa Sig. ( -tailed) sebesar ( ), maka H ditolak dan H diterima. Sehingga penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran cooperative script berbantu mind mapping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI pada mata pelajaran biologi. It can be seen from the enthusiasm of the students in answering questions from the teacher. This is due to the use of inappropriate learning models. This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative script learning model assisted by mind mapping on students' critical thinking skills in the subject matter of the human reproductive system. This research method is a quantitative research using Quasy Experimental Design. The design used is the Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of tests, field notes, and documentation. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA MAN West Lampung. The sampling technique in this study used a class random technique. This study used classes, one class as the experimental class (XI IPA ) and the other class as the control class (XI IPA ). Based on the results of data analysis, it was obtained that the value of n gain in the experimental class at the pretest was and the posttest was . While in the control class, the value of n pretest gain was and n posttest gain was . The independent t test for critical thinking skills showed that Sig. ( -tailed) of <α ( ), then H is rejected and H is accepted. So that this study can be concluded that there is an effect of using the cooperative script learning model assisted by mind mapping on the critical thinking skills of class XI students in biology subjects.
