Abstract

ABSTRAK Pemahaman konsep matematis dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan suatu kemampuan yang diperlukan oleh setiap siswa untuk mempermudah proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan pra penelitian yang telah dilakukan, terlihat bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMAN 1 Kasui masih kurang, hal tersebut ditunjukkan oleh hasil pretest pemahaman konsep matematis kelas XI IPA. Siswa yang memperoleh nilai di bawah KKM dengan nilai < 75 sebanyak 52 dari 72 siswa. Peneliti tertarik untuk menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan dengan mengontrol analytical thinking siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik (PMR) dan analytical thinking terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Quasi Experimental Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2 SMAN 1 Kasui. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang diterapkan adalah cluster random sampling dengan materi baris dan deret. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes analytical thinking dan tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analysis of covariance (one-way ancova), dengan taraf signifikan 5% diperoleh (1) p-value = 0,004 < α = 0,05 sehingga H0A ditolak dengan kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan mengontrol analytical thinking. (2) p�value = 0,000 < α sehingga H0B ditolak dengan kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh variabel kovariat analytical thinking terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. (3) p-value = 0,000 < α = 0,05 sehingga H0C ditolak dengan kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh secara simultan pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik (PMR) dan analytical thinking terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. This study aims to determine the effect of a realistic mathematics learning approach (PMR) and analytical thinking on students' understanding of mathematical concepts. This research uses the type of research Quasi Experimental Design. The sample in this study were students of class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 at SMAN 1 Kasui. The sampling technique applied is cluster random sampling with row and series material. The instruments used to collect data are analytical thinking tests and tests of understanding mathematical concepts. Testing the hypothesis using analysis of covariance (one-way ancova), with a significant level of 5% obtained (1) p-value = 0.004 <α = 0.05 so that H0A is rejected with the conclusion that there is an effect of a realistic mathematics learning approach on students' understanding of mathematical concepts with control analytical thinking. (2) p-value = 0.000 <α so that H0B is rejected with the conclusion that there is an influence of analytical thinking covariate variables on students' understanding of mathematical concepts.
