Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Kemampuan Literasi dan Numerasi Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar dalam Pemecahan Masalah Matematika”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana analisis kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar dalam pemecahan masalah matematika. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, untuk memperoleh keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan triangulasi data dari beberapa teknik, diantaranya yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun sumber datanya yaitu data primer yang terdiri dari siswa kelas IV serta guru kelas IV. Sedangkan untuk data sekunder yaitu data dokumentasi mengenai SD Negeri 2 Gisting Atas. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan kualitatif melalui teknik data reduksi (reduction data), penyajian data (display) dan menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh hasil bahwa, siswa dengan kriteria kemampuan baik dari tiga indikator, ia mampu menerapkan tiga indikator dengan benar dan tepat. Siswa dengan kriteria kemampuan cukup dari tiga indikator, ia cukup mampu dalam menerapkan ketiga indikator dengan benar meskipun terdapat sedikit kesulitan. Siswa dengan kriteria kemampuan kurang dari tiga indikator, ia masih belum mampu menerapkan tiga indikator tersebut dan masih membutuhkan banyak bimbingan. Jadi dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari 22 siswa yang diberikan soal ulangan harian oleh guru kelas terdapat 6 siswa dengan kriteria kemampuan baik, 6 siswa dengan kriteria kemampuan cukup serta 10 siswa dengan kriteria kemampuan kurang. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika sudah terlaksana dengan baik. This study aims to describe how to analyze the literacy and numeracy skills of fourth grade elementary school students in solving mathematical problems. The method used is descriptive qualitative research. To obtain the validity of the data, researchers used data triangulation from several techniques, including observation, interviews and documentation. The data source is primary data consisting of fourth grade students and fourth grade teachers. As for secondary data, namely documentation data regarding SD Negeri 2 Gisting Atas. Furthermore, the data were analyzed qualitatively through data reduction techniques (data reduction), data presentation (display) and drawing conclusions. Based on data analysis, it was found that students with good ability criteria from the three indicators were able to apply the three indicators correctly and appropriately. Students with sufficient ability criteria from the three indicators are quite capable of applying the three indicators correctly even though there are a few difficulties. Students with less than three indicators of ability are still unable to apply these three indicators and still need a lot of guidance. So from these results it can be concluded that of the 22 students who were given daily test questions by the class teacher there were 6 students with good ability criteria, 6 students with sufficient ability criteria and 10 students with poor ability criteria. From these results it can be said that the literacy and numeracy skills of students in solving mathematical problems have been well implemented.
