Abstract

ABSTRAK Seorang siswa kelas VIII disekolah SMP Negeri 2 Way Pengubuan Kabupaten Lampung Tengah memiliki prilaku Introvert dalam lingkungan sekolah. Siswa tersebut menunjukkan prilaku yang tidak bersosialisasi dengan teman-teman maupun lingkungan disekolah. Ia hanya berdiam diri disaat teman-teman yang lain bersosialisasi dengan teman sebaya di lingkungan sekolah. Walaupun demikian ia tetap mau berinteraksi dengan orang lain tetapi hanya dengan orang yang dipercayainya. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah tentang pelaksanaan layanan konseling individual untuk mengubah perilaku introvert. Tujuan penelitian ini : Untuk mengkaji cara pelaksanaan konseling individu untuk mengubah perilaku introvert siswa kelas VIII. Dilihat dari jenisnya, maka penelitian ini termasuk penelitian lapangan (field research), yaitu suatu jenis penelitian yang berusaha mengumpulkan data dan informasi mengenai permasalahan di lapangan. Sumber data yang akan digunakan yaitu dari sumber primer dan sumber sekunder. Pengumpulan data dan mendapatkan informasi melalui wawancara,observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dengan cara reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kontribusi guru bimbingan dan konseling terbukti telah mampu memotivasi siswa yang memiliki perilaku introvert di SMP Negeri 2 Way Pengubuan Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Hal ini diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan dua siswa yang menyatakan bahwa layanan konseling individu yang mereka terima dari guru bimbingan dan konseling membawa dampak perubahan bagi perilaku mereka. Seperti sudah mau bersosialisasi dengan lingkungan disekolahnya. Kata Kunci: Konseling Individu, Perilaku Introvert iii ABSTRACT A grade VIII student at SMP Negeri 2 Way Pengubuan, Central Lampung Regency has an introverted behavior in the school environment. The student shows behavior that does not socialize with friends and the school environment. He just stays silent when other friends socialize with peers in the school environment. Even so, he still wants to interact with other people but only with people he trusts. The problem in this study is about the implementation of individual counseling services to change introverted behavior. The purpose of this study: To examine how to implement individual counseling to change the introverted behavior of class VIII students. Judging from the type, this research includes field research, which is a type of research that seeks to collect data and information about problems in the field. Sources of data to be used are from primary sources and secondary sources. Collecting data and obtaining information through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the contribution of guidance and counseling teachers has proven to be able to motivate students who have introverted behavior at SMP Negeri 2 Way Pengubuan, Central Lampung Regency. This is obtained from the results of interviews with two students who stated that the individual counseling services they received from the guidance and counseling teachers had a positive impact on their behavior.
