Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MEANS ENDS ANALYSIS BERBANTU HANDOUT TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK MATERI SISTEM PENCERNAAN MANUSIA DI SMPN 2 PUBIAN LAMPUNG TENGAH Oleh Novita Setiyani Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik di SMPN 2 Pubian yang tergolong cukup rendah. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Means Ends Analysis berbantu handout terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik materi sistem pencernaan manusia di SMPN 2 Pubian Lampung Tengah. Model ini mengedepankan siswa untuk berpikir kritis dengan mengoptimalkan kegiatan pemecahan masalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan heuristik dalam bentuk LKPD. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Pubian sebanyak 5 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitia ini yaitu VIII 3 sebagai kelas kontrol dan VIII 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasy Eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain post test only. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes uraian ( Berpikir Kritis ) dan juga dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji independet sample T tes. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas hasil post test pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen menunjukan nilai signifikan di atas 0,05 maka data tersebut berdistribusi normal. Pada uji homogenitas hasil post test pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen menunjukkan nilai signifikan diatas 0,05 maka data tersebut dunyatakan homogen. Pengajuan hipotesis dengan uji t di dapatkan nilai signifikansi ( 2 tailed ) sebesar 0,003 < 0,005 maka H1 diterima. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat di simpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Means Ends Analysis berbantu handout terhadap kemampuan berpikr kritis peserta didik materi sistem pencernaan manusia di SMPN 2 Pubian Lampung Tengah. This study aims to determine the effect of the handout-assisted Means Ends Analysis learning model on students' critical thinking skills on the human digestive system at SMPN 2 Pubian, Central Lampung. This model promotes students to think critically by optimizing problem solving activities using a heuristic approach in the form of LKPD. The population in this study were all class VIII at SMPN 2 Pubian, consisting of 5 classes. The samples in this study were VIII 3 as the control class and VIII 4 as the experimental class. The method used in this research is Quasy Experiment using post test only design. Data collection techniques use essay tests (Critical Thinking) as well as documentation. Data analysis techniques include normality tests, homogeneity tests and independent sample T tests. Based on the normality test results, the post-test results in the control and experimental classes show a significant value above 0.05, so the data is normally distributed. In the homogeneity test the results of the post test in the control and experimental classes show a significant value above 0.05, so the data is declared homogeneous. Submission of the hypothesis with the t test obtained a significance value (2 tailed) of 0.003 <0.005 then H1 is accepted. Based on this research, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the handout-assisted Means Ends Analysis learning model on students' critical thinking skills on the human digestive system at SMPN 2 Pubian, Central Lampung.
