Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING BERBANTUAN EDMODO TERHADAP LITERASI SAINS DAN SELF REGULATION PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI MATERI SISTEM GERAK Oleh Safira Lavenia Literasi sains sebagai kapasitas untuk menggunakan pengetahuan ilmiah, mengidentifikasi pertanyaan, dan menarik kesimpulan berdasarkan fakta dan data untuk memahami alam semesta dan membuat keputusan dari perubahan yang terjadi karena aktivitas manusia. Pembelajaran sains yang masih mentransfer ilmu pengetahuan kepada siswa dan masih berpusat pada guru, mengakibatkan tidak diperolehnya pengalaman untuk memahami konsep, perlu adanya perbaikan terhadap proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pembelajaran yang efesien dan aktif, salah satunya dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning berbantu edmodo. Discovery learning merupakan Suatu model pembelajaran dimana peserta didik membangun pengetahuan mereka sendiri dengan mengadakan suatu pecobaan dan menemukan sebuah prinsip dari hasil pecobaan tersebut.Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian bahwa kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas XI pada materi sistem gerak di SMAN 16 Bandar Lampug masih rendah.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaan discovery learning berbantu edmodo terhadap literasi sains dan self regulation siswa kelas XI materi sistem gerak di SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis quasi eksperimen dan post test-only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas control. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan uji manova, diperoleh hasil literasi sains sebesar 82,97 dan self regulation sebesar 72,12. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa H0 = ditolak dan H1 = diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada model pembelajaran discovery learing berbantu edmodo terhadap literasi sains dan self regulation peserta didik kelas XI. Science learning which still transfers knowledge to students and is still teacher-centered, results in no experience being gained to understand concepts, it is necessary to improve the learning process by applying efficient and active learning, one of which is with the Edmodo-assisted discovery learning model. Discovery learning is a learning model in which students build their own knowledge by holding an experiment and finding a principle from the results of the experiment. Based on the results of pre�research that the scientific literacy ability of class XI students in motion system material at SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung is still low. This study was to determine the effect of the Edmodo-assisted discovery learning model on scientific literacy and self-regulation of class XI students on motion systems at SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung. This research method uses a quasi-experimental type and a post test�only control design. The population in this study were all class XI IPA students at SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year. While the samples in this study were class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI IPA 3 as the control class. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with the Manova test, scientific literacy results were obtained at 82.97 and self-regulation at 72.12. This shows that H0 = rejected and H1 = accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the Edmodo assisted discovery learning learning model on scientific literacy and self�regulation of class XI students.
