Abstract

ABSTRAK Dewasa ini perusahaan terus menerus melakukan pembaruan dalam strategi untuk mengembangkan perusahaan sehingganya perusahaan diharapkan dapat terus berkelanjutan dimasa yang akan datang, namun demikian pada tahun 2019 terjadilah fenomena pandemi Covid-19 sehingganya menjadikan perekonomian diseluruh dunia mengalami penurunan yang sangat fluktuatif sehingganya dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur nilai perusahaan menggunakan beberapa variabel yakni keuntungan (Profitabilitas), kesempatan bertumbuh (Growth opportunity) dan hutang (leverage) yang bertujuan mengukur response investor terhadap pasar (Earning Response Coeffecient). Apa pengaruh Profitabilitas, Growth opportunity dan leverage terhadap Earning Response Coeffecient pada perusahaan yang terdaftar pada Jakarta Islamic Index tahun 2019-2021. Adapun penelitian ini mengguanakan data yang diperoleh dari website resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia, website perusahaan dan Yahoo Finance. adapun pupulasi data yang didapatkan yakni sebanyak 35 perusahaan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan didapat yakni sebanyak 19 perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwasannya Profitabilitas dan Leverage berpengaruh negatif terhadap Earning Response Coefficient sedangkan Growth Opportunity berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Earning Response Coefficient. Hal ini disebabkan karena tingginya tingkat profitabilitas yang didapatkan oleh perusahaan dikhawatirkan atau diduga terjadinya praktik manajemen laba atau tindakan manipulasi data, sedangkan leverage berpengaruh negatif dikarenakan perusahaan yang memiliki hutang yang besar dikhawatirkan perusahaan memiliki risiko yang lebih tinggi dan Growth Opportunity berpengaruh positif dikarenakan semakin besar kesempatan bertumbuh perushaan maka akan semakin besar pula peningkatan terhadap Earning Response Coefficient. Kata Kunci: Earning Response Coefficient, Growth Opportunity, Leverage, Perspektif Ekonomi Islam, Profitabilitas. ABSTRACT Today companies are constantly updating their strategies to develop the company so that the company is expected to be sustainable in the future, however, in 2019 the Covid-19 pandemic phenomenon occurred so that it made economies around the world experience a very volatile decline so that in this study aims to measure the value of the company using several variables, namely profitability, growth opportunity and debt (leverage) which aims to measure investor response to the market (Earning Response Coeffecient). What is the effect of Profitability, Growth opportunity and leverage on Earning Response Coeffecient in companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index in 2019-2021. This research uses data obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the company's website and Yahoo Finance. as for the data pupulation obtained, namely 35 companies. The data collection technique used purposive sampling technique and obtained as many as 19 companies. The results of this research show that Profitability and Leverage have a negative effect on the Earning Response Coefficient, while Growth Opportunity has a significant positive effect on the Earning Response Coefficient. This is because the high level of profitability obtained by the company is feared or suspected of earnings management practices or data manipulation actions, while leverage has a negative effect because companies that have large debts are worried that the company has a higher risk and Growth Opportunity has a positive effect because the greater the opportunity to grow the company, the greater the increase in Earning Response Coefficient.
