Abstract

ABSTRAK Tri Santri Prasidi, 2022. “(Pengaruh Layanan Konseling Kelompok Teknik Problem Solving Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Matematika Peserta Didik Kelas VIII Di SMPN 12 Bandar Lampung). Skripsi, Program Studi Bimbingan Konseling Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Lampung”. Suatu dorongan yang dapat menggerakkan atau mengarahkan perubahan tingkah laku peserta didik yang dapat memotivasi kegiatan belajar peserta didik dalam mencapai tujuan belajar dikenal dengan motivasi belajar. Namun, ada beberapa peserta didik yang terlihat kurang memiliki motivasi belajar. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya motivasi belajar agar tidak mengganggu prestasi belajar dan masa depannya, dan perlu dilakukan pembinaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana layanan konseling kelompok dengan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMPN 12 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen. Sepuluh peserta didik dari kelas eksperimen di kelas VIII G dijadikan sampel untuk penelitian ini. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner. Tingkat motivasi belajar kelas eksperimen meningkat sebagai hasil dari analisis data. Setelah mendapat perlakuan dalam bimbingan konseling kelompok, hasil pretest kelas eksperimen meningkat menjadi 114,8 dari 75,4. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan p = 0,005 sehingga cenderung beralasan bahwa konseling kelompok dengan teknik problem solving dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. An encouragement that can move or direct changes in student behavior that can motivate student learning activities in achieving learning goals is known as learning motivation. However, there are some students who seem to lack motivation to learn. Therefore, it is necessary to have learning motivation so as not to interfere with learning achievement and its future, and coaching is needed. This writing aims to find out how group counseling services with problem solving skills can increase students' learning motivation at SMPN 12 Bandar Lampung. This writing uses a quasi-experimental approach. Ten students from the experimental class in class VIII G were used as samples for this study. Data collection methods include interviews, observation, and questionnaires. The level of learning motivation in the experimental class increased as a result of the data analysis. After receiving treatment in group counseling guidance, the experimental class pretest results increased to 114.8 from 75.4. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed p = 0.005 so they tend to argue that group counseling with problem solving techniques can be used as a way to increase students' learning motivation.
