Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berawal dari kurangnya kemampuan intelektual dalam mengemukakan pendapat, siswa cenderung diam saat ditanyakan pendapat tentang suatu masalah, siswa kurang termotivasi untuk mengemukakan pendapatnya, guru belum mengguanakan metode terbaru dalam proses pembelajaran serta siswa merasa bosan dan tidak memperhatikan materi yang disampaikan guru ketika proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental jenis Quasi Experimental Design dengan menggunakan desain Nonequivalent Control group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun sumber datanya adalah pendidik dan peserta didik. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara umum model problem based learning berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan intelektual siswa kelas VI A MIN 5 Bandar Lampung dapat dilihat dari perolehan persentase yaitu sangat tinggi 36%, tinggi 28%, sedang 24%, rendah 0,12%, dan sangat rendah berada pada presentase 0%. Kata kunci: problem based learning,kemampuan intelektual,PKN iii ABSTRACT This research originated from a lack of intellectual ability in expressing opinions, students tended to be silent when asked for opinions on a problem, students were less motivated to express their opinions, teachers had not used the latest methods in the learning process and students felt bored and did not pay attention to the material conveyed by the teacher during the learning process. . The type of research used in this study was an experimental research type of Quasi Experimental Design using the Nonequivalent Control group Design. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and documentation. The data sources are educators and students. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that in general the problem based learning model influences the intellectual skills of students in class VI A MIN 5 Bandar Lampung. It can be seen from the percentage gain, namely very high 36%, high 28%, moderate 24%, low 0.12%, and very low at a percentage of 0%. Keywords: problem based learning, intellectual abilities, PKN
