Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujan untuk mengembangkan media pembalajaran berupa pop up book berbasis etnomatematika pada rumah adat Lampung dengan konsep-konsep geometri guna meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika, serta untuk mengetahui respon guru dan peserta didik, dan tingkat efektifitas media pembelajaran pop up book. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Borg & Gall dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran dengan 7 langkah dari 10 langkah yang terdapat pada metode Borg & Gall yaitu, research and information collect (penelitian dan pengumpulan data), planning (perencanaan), develop preliminary form of product (pengembangan darf awal) preliminary field testing (uji lapangan awal), main product revision (revisi produk awal), main field testing (uji lapangan produk utama), dan dissemination and implementasi (desiminasi dan implementasi). Dalam penelitian ini pengumpulan informasi dijadikan sebuah acuan dari hasil produk baru. Teknis Analisis Data merupakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Penliaian validator materi dan validator media dikategorikan “Sangat Layak” dengan persentase 90% dan 90%. Pengembangan media pembelajaran pop up book berbasis etnomatematika pada rumah adat Lampung dengan konsep-konsep geometri mendapatkan persentase sebesar 92% pada uji coba skala kecil dengan kategori “Sangat Menarik”. Uji coba skala besar mendapatkan persentase sebesar 94% dari 29 peserta didik dengan kategori “Sangat Menarik”. Serta nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,89 dengan kreteria “tinggi”. Serta mendapat nilai effect size sebesar 1.06 dengan kriteria efektif. Dengan demikan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran pop up book berbasis etnomatematika pada rumah adat Lampung dengan konsep-konsep geometri sangat layak dan sangat menarik. Kata kunci: Media, Etnomatemtika, Pop up book iii ABSTRACT This study aims to develop learning media in the form of ethnomathematics-based pop up books at Lampung traditional houses with geometric concepts in order to improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts, as well as to determine the response of teachers and students, and the level of effectiveness of pop up book learning media. This study uses the Borg & Gall method in developing instructional media with 7 steps out of the 10 steps found in the Borg & Gall method, namely, research and information collection (research and data collection), planning (planning), initial product development (early development). preliminary field tests (initial field tests), main product revisions (initial product revisions), main field trials (main product field tests), and dissemination and implementation (dissemination and implementation). In this research information discovery is used as a reference for the results of new products. Technical Data Analysis is a qualitative descriptive analysis. The assessment of the material validator and media validator is categorized as "Very Eligible" with a proportion of 90% and 90%. The development of ethnomathematics�based pop-up book learning media in Lampung traditional houses with geometric concepts obtained a proportion of 92% in small-scale trials with the "Very Interesting" category. Large-scale trials obtained a proportion of 94% of 29 students in the "Very Interesting" category. As well as the N-Gain value of 0.89 with the "high" criterion. As well as getting an effect size value of 1.06 with effective criteria. Thus it can be interpreted that the development of ethnomathematics-based pop-up book learning media at Lampung traditional houses with geometric concepts is very feasible and very interesting.
