Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi berdasarkan masalah yaitu, media yang sudah digunakan sebelumnya ialah media gambar, namun media gambar yang digunakan selama ini ternyata belum mengarah kepada kemampuan berpikir karena media yang ditampilkan hanya sebatas gambar saja. Sehingga peneliti akan mengembangkan sebuah media yaitu media fun thinkers book berbasis model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) dalam materi pekerjaanku di kelas III. Media fun thinkers book adalah seperangkat buku yang dikemas untuk menciptakan kegiatan belajar menjadi lebih menyenangkan. Model problem based learning adalah model pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang bercirikan adanya permasalahan nyata sehingga dibutuhkan kemampuan berpikir untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan media fun thinkers book berbasis model pembelajaran problem based kearning (PBL) dalam materi pekerjaanku, untuk mengetahui respon peserta didik mengenai penggunaan media fun thinkers book berbasis problem based learning (PBL) dalam materi pekerjaanku. Penelitian ini dilakukan oleh peneliti ialah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yaitu analisis, (analysis), desain (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), evaluasi (evaluation). Validasi kelayakan dilakukan dengan dengan beberapa ahli yakni 2 validator untuk ahli materi, 2 validator untuk ahli bahasa, dan 2 validator untuk ahli media, serta 2 pendidik. Uji coba skala kecil dengan 21 peserta didik di SD Negeri 2 Mulyosari dan uji coba skala besar dengan 46 peserta didik di SD Negeri 1 Mulyosari. Berdasarkan tahapan-tahapan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media fun thinkers book berbasis model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) dalam materi pekerjaanku di kelas III SD/MI memperoleh hasil rata-rata dari ahli materi yakni 89% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”. Kemudian ahli bahasa memperoleh hasil rata-rata yakni 90% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”. Ahli media memperoleh hasil rata-rata 87% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”. Penilaian yang dilakukan oleh pendidik memperoleh hasil rata-rata 91,5% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”. Respon peserta didik skala kecil memperoleh hasil rata-rata 89% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”, respon peserta didik skala besar memperoleh hasil rata-rata 91% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”. Hal ini menunjukkan media fun thinkers book berbasis model pembelajaran problrm based learning (PBL) dalam materi pekerjaanku di kelas III SD/MI layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Fun Thinkers Book, Problem Based Learning (PBL) ABSTRACT The background of this research is based on the problem, namely, the media that has been used before is image media, but the image media used so far has not yet led to thinking skills because the media displayed is only images. So that researchers will develop a media, namely fun thinkers book media based on problem based learning (PBL) learning models in my work material in class III. Media fun thinkers book is a set of books packaged to make learning activities more enjoyable. The problem-based learning model is a problem-based learning model which is characterized by real problems so that thinking skills are needed to solve these problems. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the feasibility level of problem based learning (PBL) media fun thinkers book in my work material, to find out students' responses regarding the use of problem based learning (PBL) media fun thinkers book in my work material. This research was conducted by researchers, namely development research using the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Feasibility validation was carried out with several experts, namely 2 validators for material experts, 2 validators for linguists, and 2 validators for media experts, and 2 educators. Small-scale trials with 21 students at SD Negeri 2 Mulyosari and large-scale trials with 46 students at SD Negeri 1 Mulyosari. Based on these stages it can be concluded that the media fun thinkers book based on the problem based learning (PBL) learning model in my work material in class III SD/MI obtained an average result from material experts which was 89% which was included in the "very decent" category. Then linguists get an average result of 90% which is included in the "very decent" category. Media experts get an average result of 87% which is included in the “very decent” category. The assessment carried out by educators obtained an average result of 91.5% which was included in the "very decent" category. The response of small-scale students obtained an average result of 89% which was included in the "very feasible" category, the response of large-scale students obtained an average result of 91% which was included in the "very feasible" category. This shows that the fun thinkers book media based on the problem based learning (PBL) learning model in my work material in class III SD/MI is feasible to use in the learning process.
