Abstract

ABSTRAK Pandemi Covid-19 dimulai pada tanggal 30 Januari 2020 saat World Health Organization (WHO) mengumumkan wabah Covid-19 sebagai kedaruratan kesehatan masyarakat dunia. Covid-19 tidak hanya berdampak pada kesehatan saja tetapi juga menyebabkan hampir seluruh dunia mengalami kedaruratan dalam hal ekonomi. Hal itu terjadi karena pemerintah memberlakukan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) dan mengurangi kontak fisik langsung untuk mengurangi penyebaran virus Covid-19. Diberlakukannya PSBB membuat masyarakat harus melakukan semua kegiatan dari rumah. Kemajuan teknologi membantu masyarakat untuk beradaptasi dengan kondisi tersebut. Salah satunya yaitu metode pembayaran digital atau cashless menggunakan dompet digital yang mempermudah masyrakat untuk melakukan transaksi jual-beli dengan mudah. Terdapat banyak dompet digital atau e-wallet di Indonesia salah satunya adalah gopay. Gopay merupakana dompet digital yang terpercaya memiliki sistem keamanan yang baik, pembayaran menjadi lebih ringkas, riwayat transaksi tercatat dengan jelas serta keuntungan lainnya seperti ada jaminan saldo kembali jika handphone hilang ataupun saldo diambil secara paksa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pandemi Covid-19 terhadap pengguna e-wallet gopay. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang ada di Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Jumlah sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini, yaitu sebanyak 91 responden. Pada penelitian ini data yang diolah diperoleh dengan cara menggunakan metode pengisian kuisioner melalui google form. Metode analisis dan pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan software SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kondisi pandemi covid-19 berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengguna e-wallet gopay di Bandar Lampung khususnya pada Mahasiswa di Bandar Lampung. Hasil penelitian ini dipengaruhi oleh pandemi covid-19 yang membuat masyarakat banyak menggunakan transaksi nontunai. Kata kunci: cashless, e-wallet, gopay, Pandemi Covid-19 ABSTRACT Pandemic of Covid-19 has started on January 30th 2020 when World Health Organization (WHO) declared the Covid-19 outbreak a world health emergency. Covid-19 not only has an impact on health but has also caused almost the entire world in emergency terms of the economy. This happened because the government imposed Large�Scale Social Distancing (PSBB) and reducehe d direct physical contact to reduce the spread virus of Covid-19. The implementation of PSbb forced to the community to carry out all activities from home. Advances in technology help people to adapt with these conditions. One of them is a digital or cashless payment method using a digital wallet which make it easier for people to buying and selling transactions easily. There are many digital wallets or E-Wallet in Indonesia, one of them which is Gopay. Gopay is a trusted digital wallet that has a good security system, makes payments more concise, transaction’s history is celearly recorded and other benefits such as a guaranteed balance if the smartphone is lost or the balance is taken by force. This study aims to determine the effect of Pandemic of Covid-19 on Gopay E-wallet users. This reseacrh uses a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population of this study were students in Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique used in this study is using the Slovin Formula. The samples that taken in this study as many as 91 respondents. In this study, the processed data was obtained by using the questionnaire filling method through the Google Form. The methods of analysis and data processing in this study using SPSS 26 software. The results of this study indicate that the Pandemic of Covid-19 conditions has a significant effect on increasing Gopay E-Wallet users in Bandar Lampung, especially students in Bandar Lampung. The results of this study were influenced by the Pandemic of Covid-19 which made people use a lot of non-cash transactions. Keywords: cashless, E-Wallet, Gopay, Pandemic Covid-19
