Abstract

BSTRAK Rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan keaktifan belajar siswa MTs Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung, disebabkan karena model pembelajaran yang diterapkan kurang sesuai sehingga mengakibatkan pembelajarannya monoton dan cenderung pasif. Hal ini mengakibatkan adanya dugaan penerapan model pembelajaran tersebut mempengaruhi keaktifan dan pemahaman konsep siswa. Tujuannya yaitu 1) Apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan keaktifan belajar antara siswa yang mengikuti model make a match dengan model scramble? 2) Apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep antara siswa yang mengikuti model make a match dengan model scramble? 3) Apakah terdapat perbedaan keaktifan belajar antara siswa yang mengikuti model make a match dengan model scramble? Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasy Experimental Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Al�Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling, terpilih 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIII C dengan model make a match dan VIII D dengan model scramble. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes dan non tes. Uji prasyarat menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, sedangkan uji hipotesis menggunakan MANOVA. Menurut hasil analisis data penelitian, terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan keaktifan belajar antara siswa yang mengikuti model make a match dengan model scramble. Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep antara siswa yang mengikuti model make a match dengan model scramble. Terdapat perbedaan keaktifan belajar antara siswa yang mengikuti model make a match dengan model scramble. Kata kunci: Scramble, Make A Match, Pemahaman Konsep dan Keaktifan Belajar. iv ABSTRACT The low ability to understand concepts and active learning of MTs Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung students is caused because the learning model applied is not suitable, resulting in monotonous and passive learning. This has resulted in the alleged application of the learning model affecting the activeness and understanding of students' concepts. The goal is 1) Is there a difference in concept comprehension ability and learning activity between students who follow the make a match model and the scramble model? 2) Is there a difference in concept comprehension ability between students who follow the make a match model and the scramble model? 3) Is there a difference in learning activity between students who follow the make a match model and the scramble model? This type of research is Quasy Experimental Design. The population in this study was students of class VIII MTs Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling, selected 2 classes, namely class VIII C with a make a match model and VIII D with a scramble model. Data collection techniques are in the form of tests and non-tests. The prerequisite test uses the normality test and the homogeneity test, while the hypothesis test uses MANOVA. According to the results of the analysis of research data, there are differences in concept understanding ability and learning activity between students who follow the make a match model and the scramble model. There are differences in concept comprehension ability between students who follow the make a match model and the scramble model.
