Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merujuk pada penelitian sebelumnya yang menyebutkan bahwa harga saham dapat menjadi variabel dependen dan juga dapat menjadi variabel independen. untuk itu, peneliti tertarik menggunakan harga saham sebagai variabel intervening untuk melihat apakah harga saham dapat memediasi antara variabel independen yaitu profitabilitas dan investment opportunity set terhadap variabel dependen yaitu nilai perusahaan. Faktor-faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan adalah rendahnya angka profitabilitas perusahaan, investment opportunity set atau keputusan berinvestasi yang sangat berkaitan dengan harga saham. rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah pengaruh profitabilitas dan investment opportunity set terhadap nilai perusahaan sebagai variabel intervening, adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas dan investment opportunity set terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan harga saham sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan data sekunder yang di peroleh melalui situs www.idx.com dengan mengunakan metode pengumpulan sampel metode purposive sampling dan mendapatkan sampel berjumlah 16 berdasarkan hasil uji statistik, menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh dan tidak signifikan terhadap harga saham, investment opportunity set berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham, profitabilitas dan investment opportunity set tidak berpengaruh dan tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan harga saham tidak mampu memediasi antara profitabilitas dan investment opportunity set terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kata Kunci : profitabilitas, investment opportunity set, harga saham, nilai perusahaan ABSTRACT This study refers to previous research which states that stock prices can be the dependent variable and can also be an independent variable. For this reason, researchers are interested in using stock prices as an intervening variable to see whether stock prices can mediate between the independent variables, namely profitability and investment opportunity set to the dependent variable, namely firm value. factors that are thought to influence the value of the company are the low number of company profitability, investment opportunity set that are closely related to stock prices. the formulation of the problem in this study is whether the influence of profitability and investment opportunity set on firm value as an intervening variable, while the purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of profitability and investment opportunity set on firm value with stock price as an intervening variable. This research is a quantitative research that uses secondary data obtained through the site www.idx.com by using the purposive sampling method of sample collection and obtaining a sample of 16. based on the results of statistical tests, it shows that profitability has no effect and is not significant on stock price, investment opportunity set has negative and significant effect on stock price, profitability and investment opportunity set has no effect and is not significant on firm value, and stock prices are not able to mediate between profitability and investment opportunity set on firm value Keywords: profitability, investment opportunity set, stock price, firm value
