Abstract

ABSTRAK Kesepian merupakan masalah psikologis yang paling banyak terjadi pada lansia, merasa terasingi (terisolasi), tersisihkan, terpencil dari orang lain. Kesepian merupakan hal yang alami dan merupakan fakta yang tidak dapat di hindarkan, baik oleh anak-anak, remaja, dewasa dan lansia. Kesepian yang dialami oleh lansia sering terjadi pada saat ditinggalkan oleh pasangan hidup atau teman dekat dan kurangnya dukungan keluarga. Menurut Ayusi Ikasi dalam jurnalnya, terdapat beberapa strategi atau cara yang perlu dilakukan keluarga terhadap kelangsungan hidup lansia, yaitu strategi dukungan informasi, strategi dukungan penghargaan, strategi dukungan emosional, dan strategi dukungan bantuan materi. Menurut markides, faktor yang menunjang kepuasan hidup lansia yaitu Pendapatan, Gaya hidup yang aktif, Jaringan pertemanan dan keluarga Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kulaitatif (Field Research), Pemilihan partisipan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Snowball Sampling terdapat 12 partisipan, yaitu 5 lansia dan 5 anak dari lansia, 1 kepala pekon dan 1 Bidan. Metode pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dan simpulan diketahui bahwa: Strategi Family Suport Dalam Mewujudkan Life Satisfaction Lansia Di Desa Waykerap Kabupaten Tanggamus yaitu dukungan keluarga secara keseluruhan terhadap lansia sebagian besar rendah, ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisa bahwa hanya dukungan berupa bantuan materi yang tinggi sehingga lansia kurang mencapai kepuasan hidup. Dukungan keluarga yang diberikan keluarga kepada lansia sangat dibutuhkan lansia selama menjalani kehidupannya sehingga lansia merasa diperhatikan dan dihargai sehingga mencapai kepuasan hidup (Life Satisfaction). Hal ini sejalan dengan teori Maryam bahwa keluarga merupakan support system utama bagi lansia dalam mempertahankan kesehatannya. Saran dari peneliti bagi kampung hendaknya melakukan kegiatan sosial yang melibatkan lansia, bagi keluarga lansia hendak nya lebih memahami pentingnya dukungan keluarga yang diberikan terhadap lansia agar lansia dapat menikmati masa tuanya dengan bahagia. Kata Kunci: Lansia, family support,dan Life Satisfaction iii ABSTRACT Loneliness is a psychological problem that most often occurs in the elderly, feeling isolated (isolated), excluded, isolated from others. Loneliness is a natural thing and is a fact that cannot be avoided, both by children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. Loneliness experienced by the elderly often occurs when left by a spouse or close friend and lacks family support. There are 5 elderly people aged 60 years and over in Waykerap Village, the majority of whom live with their children who are married and there are also elderly who live alone without being accompanied by their families so that the elderly feel lonely. The purpose of this study is to examine the family support or family support that the authors mean in this study are attitudes and actions in the form of acceptance by family members which are manifested by always being ready to provide assistance if needed. And Life Satisfaction what the author means is "a comprehensive evaluation carried out by individuals regarding how satisfied they are with their lives based on certain domains (family environment)". The type of research that will be used by researchers is qualitative research (Field Research), this study uses 10 participants, namely 5 elderly and 5 children from the elderly. The data collection methods that the authors use are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study and the conclusions are that: Familly Support and Life Satisfaction Strategies Based on Marital Status, namely overall family support for the elderly are mostly low, this can be seen from the analysis results that only support in the form of material assistance is high so that the elderly do not achieve life satisfaction. Family support given by the family to the elderly is very much needed by the elderly during their life so that the elderly feel cared for and appreciated so that they achieve life satisfaction (Life Satisfaction). This is in line with Maryam's theory that the family is the main support system for the elderly in maintaining their health. Suggestions from researchers for the village should carry out social activities that involve the elderly, for elderly families they should better understand the importance of family support given to the elderly so that the elderly can enjoy their old age happily.
