Abstract

ABSTRAK Ketimpangan pendapatan ialah suatu kondisi dimana distribusi pendapatan yang diterima masyarakat tidak merata. Semakin besar jurang pendapatan maka semakin besar pula variasi dalam distribusi pendapatan akan menyebabkan terjadinya disparitas pendapatan. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah PDRB dan inflasi berpengaruh terhadap ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan di Kota Metro, serta bagaimana ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan dalam perspektif ekonomi islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh PDRB dan inflasi terhadap ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan di Kota Metro, serta untuk mengetahui ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan data sekunder dalam periode pengamatan 2016-2021. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi untuk data PDRB, inflasi, dan gini ratio yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Metro. Data yang ada dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda yang dioleh dengan program Eviews 10. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa PDRB tidak berpengaruh terhadap ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan, hal tersebut dikarenakan PDRB Kota Metro memiliki dua sektor yang unggul yaitu pada sektor industri pengolahan dan perdagangan besar dan eceran; reparasi, meski kontribusi dua sektor tersebut sangat besar dalam membentuk pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Metro, namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap penurunan angka gini ratio atau ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan. Inflasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan, hal ini dikarenakan inflasi bersifat fluktuatif. Dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam, konsep distribusi memiliki maksud yang lebih luas, yaitu peningkatan dan pembagian hasil kekayaan agar sirkulasi kekayaan dapat ditingkatkan sehingga kekayaan yang ada dapat melimpah dengan merata dan tidak beredar diantara golongan tertentu saja. Kata Kunci: PDRB, Inflasi, Ketimpangan Distribusi Pendapatan ABSTRACT Income inequality is a condition where the distribution of income received by the community is not evenly distributed. The larger the income gap, the greater the variation in income distribution will lead to income disparities. This can not be avoided because of the effect of seepage down from the output perfectly. The results of national output are only enjoyed by a handful of minority groups with certain goals. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether PDRB and inflation affect the inequality of income distribution in Metro City, as well as how the inquality of income distribution in the perspective of Islamc economics. This study aims to determine how much influence PDRB and inflation have on the inequality of income distribution in Metro City, as well as to determine the inequality of income distribution in the perspective of Islamic economics. This research is a quantitative study with secondary data in the 2016-2021 observation period. Data collection in this study uses the documentation method for data on PDRB , inflation, and the Gini ratio sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Metro City. Existing data were analysed using multiple linear regression obtained by the Eviews 10 program. The conclusion of this study is that PDRB does not affect the inequality of income distribution, this is because the GRDP of Metro City has two superior sectors, namely the manufacturing sector and wholesale and retail trade; reparations, although the contribution of the sectors is very large in shaping the economic growth of Metro City , but it does not affect the decline in the Gini ratio or income distribution inequality. Inflation has no effect on the inequality of income distribution, this is because inflation is fluctuating. In an Islamic economic perspective, the concept of distribution has a broader purpose, namely increasing and distributing wealth so that the circulation of wealth can be increased so that existing wealth can be abundant evenly and does not circulate only among certain groups.
