Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis tentang peran komite sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pelayanan Pendidikan di MIN 1 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan Teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan informan: Pihak Komite Madrasah MIN 1 Bandar Lampung. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan pengecekan kredibilitas data dengan triangulasi. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini adalah tahap pralapangan, tahap penelitian, dan tahap pelaporan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing peran komite sekolah yaitu peran pendukung dan peran mediator berjalan secara maksimal. Komite sekolah sebagai independent sangat memerlukan dukungan dan Kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak serta peningkatan profesionalisme dan kompentensi pengurus komite sekolah. Peran Komite Madrasah di MIN 1 Bandar Lampung sudah berjalan dengan baik. Hal itu dapat dilihat dari segi input, proses dan outputnya. Peran Komite Madrasah di MIN 1 Bandar Lampung meliputi 1). Sebagai badan Pendukung (Supporting Agency), pihak komite memberikan dukungan berupa sumbangsih ide dan tenaga serta menerima aspirasi orang tua wali murid dan menginisiasi rapat yang melibatkan pihak sekolah dan orang tua wali murid. Dan 2). Sebagai badan Penghubung atau Mediator (Mediator Agency), pihak komite madrasah menjembatani antar pihak sekolah dengan orang tua wali murid dalam merumuskan kebijakan baik program maupun sarana dan prasarana. Implikasi atau saran dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Komite sekolah diharapkan dapat bekerja sama dengan lebih baik dengan kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua siswa, untuk sama-sama memajukan sekolah dan membuat rencana anggaran sekolah serta program sekolah secara bersama-sama melibatkan semua pihak. 2). Komite sekolah diharapkan lebih memahami tugas dan perannya sesuai dengan keputusan pemerintah dan kebutuhan sekolah. 3). Komite sekolah diharapkan lebih sering melakukan pemantauan sekolah secara rutin dan mengadakan pertemuan rutin dengan pihak sekolah maupun orang tua siswa. Kata Kunci: Komite,Madarasah,Peran iii ABSTRACT This study aims to describe and analyze the role of the school committee in improving the quality of education services at MIN 1 Bandar Lampung. The research was carried out using a qualitative approach with a case study design. The data was collected using interview, observation and documentation techniques with the informants: the Madrasah Committee of MIN 1 Bandar Lampung. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. To check the validity of the data, it is done by checking the credibility of the data by triangulation. The stages in this research are the pre-field stage, the research stage, and the research result reporting stage. The results showed that each of the school committee's roles, namely the supporting role and the mediator role, ran optimally. The school committee as an independent really needs support and cooperation with various parties as well as increasing the professionalism and competence of the school committee management.The role of the Madrasah Committee at MIN 1 Bandar Lampung has been running well. It can be seen in terms of input, process and output. The role of the Madrasah Committee at MIN 1 Bandar Lampung includes 1). As a Supporting Agency, the committee provides support in the form of contributing ideas and energy and accepts the aspirations of parents and guardians of students and initiates meetings involving the school and parents. and 2). As a liaison or mediator agency, the madrasa committee acts as a bridge between schools and parents and guardians of students in formulating policies, both program sahSchool committees are expected to work together better with school principals, teachers, parents, to jointly advance the school and make school budget plans and school programs jointly involving all parties . 2). School committees are expected to better understand their duties and roles in accordance with government decisions and school needs. 3). The school committee is expected to carry out regular school monitoring and hold regular meetings with the school and parents. Keywords:Committee,Madrasah,Role
