Abstract

The Relationship Between Perceived Susceptibility and Cues to Action with Obedience of Sosiety in Implementation COVID-19 Health Protocols By : Rafika Oktaviani Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) or COVID-19 is a new type of corona virus that was first discovered in Wuhan, China, then spread rapidly throughout the world including Indonesia. In reducing the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the government has taken various measures for handling and prevention. One of them is by making policy rules for the implementation of the COVID-19 Health Protocol. However, in its implementation, most people lack the awareness to comply with the policies that have been recommended so that positive cases infected with COVID-19 are increasing. Based on the Health Belief Model theory, the issue of community compliance with the COVID-19 health protocol can be studied by several factors, including perceived susceptibility and cues to action. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between perceived susceptibility and cues to action with community compliance with the COVID-19 health protocol. The population is 33 RTs with a sample of 2 RTs based on the sampling technique, namely cluster random sampling, so that a sample of 81 people is obtained. Data collection in this study used the compliance scale (ɑ = 0.898), the perceived susceptibility scale (ɑ = 0.821), and the cues to action scale (ɑ = 0.891). This study uses multiple regression analysis techniques with the help of SPSS 21.0 for windows. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between the perception of susceptibility and cues to action with community compliance with the COVID-19 health protocol with a value of R = 0.568 and F = 18,571, significance p < 0.01, and an effective contribution (SE) of 32.3%.
