Abstract

ABSTRAK Hubungan Harga Diri Dengan Kepercayaan Diri Pada Mahasiswa UKM PSM UIN Raden Intan Lampung Oleh: Afif Akbar Mahasiswa menjadikan universitas atau perguruan tinggi sebagai tempat proses belajar mengajar, di dalam universitas tersebut tidak hanya proses belajar mengajar saja adapun untuk hal lain untuk mengembangkan kemampuan ataupun mencari sebuah pengalama baru, di dukung oleh beberapa UKM dan Organisasi yang ada di kampus tersebut. UKM adalah sebuah organisasi mahasiswa (ormawa) yang mengkhususkan kegiatannya pada kegiatan pengembangan minat dan bakat. PSM sendiri merupakan salah satu UKM yang ada di UIN Raden Intan Lampung, UKM yang menampilkan sebuah group vokal paduan suara yang di perankan oleh mahasiswa-mahasiswa UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Kepercayaan diri dapat bermuara pada keyakinan bahwa dalam diri seseorang memiliki kemampuan untuk berhasil di tugas mereka, berdasarkan pada apakah mereka mampu atau tidak melakukan tugas di masa lalu. Sehingga memunculkan Harga diri yang merupakan kunci terpenting dalam pembentukan perilaku seseorang karena harga diri ini dapat berpengaruh pada proses berfikir, keputusan-keputusan yang diambil, dan nilai-nilai tujuan individu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa Paduan Suara Mahasiswa UIN Raden Intan Lampung dengan jumlah 60 mahasiswa. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan yaitu sampel total sampling dan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan skala psikologi meliputi skala harga diri dan skala kepercayaan diri. Skala kepercayaan diri berjumlah 25 aitem (α=0.879), pada skala harga diri berjumlah 34 aitem (α=0.913). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis korelasi pearson product moment yang dibantu dengan program SPSS versi 24. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan peneliti, maka bisa disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara harga diri dengan kepercayaan diri pada mahasiswa PSM UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil koefisien korelasi R = 0,773 dan koefisien determinasi (R2 ) = 0,598 dengan signifikan p = 0,000 (p<0,01). Dari hasil tersebut maka didapat bahwa harga diri memberi sumbangan efektif sebesar 59,8% terhadap variabel terikat, sedangkan pengaruh variabel lain diluar penelitian sebesar 40,2%. UKM is a student organization (ormawa) that specializes in activities to develop interests and talents. PSM itself is one of the UKMs at UIN Raden Intan Lampung, UKM which features a group played by UIN Raden Intan Lampung students. Self-confidence can lead to the belief that a person has the ability to succeed at their task, based on whether or not they were able to perform the task in the past. So that raises self-esteem which is the most important key in shaping one's behavior because this self-esteem can affect the thinking process, decisions taken, and the values of individual goals. The population in this study were students of the UIN Raden Intan Lampung Student Choir with a total of 60 students. The researcher uses quantitative research method with the sampling technique that is total sampling and the sample in this research is 60 students. Data collection techniques in this study used a psychological scale including a self-esteem scale and a self-confidence scale. The self-confidence scale consists of 25 items (α=0.879), on the self-esteem scale there are 34 items (α=0.913). The analytical technique used is the Pearson product moment which is assisted by the SPSS version 24 Based on the results of research that has been carried out by researchers, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between self-esteem and self-confidence in PSM students at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. This can be seen from the results of the correlation coefficient R = 0.773 and the coefficient of determination (R2 ) = 0.598 with a significant p = 0.000 (p <0.01). From these results, it was found that self-esteem gave an effective contribution of 59.8% to the dependent variable, while the influence of other variables outside the study was 40.2%.
