Abstract

ABSTRAK Penulis mengambil judul “Pelaksanaan Layanan Konseling Individu Dalam Mengatasi Kesulitan Belajar Peserta Didik Di SMA Negeri 1 Natar Di Masa Pandemi Covid-19”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan layanan konseling individu dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Natar di masa pandemi covid-19. Untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan layanan konseling individu, untuk mengetahui hambatan yang dialami guru bimbingan konseling, serta mengetahui hasil dari pelaksanaan layanan konseling individu dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar peserta didik SMA Negeri 1 Natar di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan termasuk kedalam jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Terdapat 2 peserta didik yang memiliki permasalahan kesulitan belajar pada bidang pelajaran matematika, adapun bentuknya peserta didik mengalami hambatan dalam proses belajar sehingga membuat nilainya tidak mencapai nilai rata-rata. Penulis melakukan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber diantaranya wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun sumbernya adalah Guru bimbingan dan konseling, 2 peserta didik, dan guru matematika. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dari pelaksanaan layanan konseling individu yang telah dilakukan oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar terdapat perubahan perilaku yaitu sebelum mendapatkan layanan peserta didik memiliki indikator kesulitan belajar yang berbeda, dimana peserta didik kurang menguasai materi yang diberikan oleh guru mata pelajaran matematika, dan peserta didik membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama untuk menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan dan pencapaian prestasi rendah atau nilai dibawah rata-rata pada mata pelajaran matematika. Namun setelah mendapatkan layanan konseling individu peserta didik menjadi pribadi yang mengarah ke arah yang lebih baik, berhasil dalam mencapai tujuan belajar, mengalami peningkatan nilai dari hasil belajarnya, serta merasakan perasaan lebih terbuka terhadap konselor dalam layanan konseling individu. This study aims to describe individual counseling services in overcoming learning difficulties for students at SMA Negeri 1 Natar during the Covid-19 pandemic. To find out the implementation of individual counseling services, to find out the obstacles experienced by counseling guidance teachers, and to find out the results of the implementation of individual counseling services in overcoming learning difficulties for students of SMA Negeri 1 Natar during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is descriptive in nature and belongs to the type of qualitative research, using data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation. There were 2 students who had problems with learning difficulties in the field of mathematics lessons, while in the form of students experiencing obstacles in the learning process so that their grades did not reach the average value. The author validates the data using source triangulation techniques including interviews and documentation. The sources are the guidance and counseling teacher, 2 students, and the math teacher. Based on the results of this study, it shows that from the implementation of individual counseling services that have been carried out by guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming learning difficulties there is a change in behavior, namely before getting services students have different indicators of learning difficulties, where students do not master the material provided by the eye teacher mathematics lessons, and students need a long time to complete the assignments given and have low achievement or scores below the average in mathematics. However, after receiving individual counseling services, students become individuals who lead to a better direction, are successful in achieving learning goals, experience an increase in the value of their learning outcomes, and feel a more open feeling towards counselors in individual counseling services.
