Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena kurang banyaknya model - model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam lingkungan sekolah, hal tersebut disebabkan karena kurangnya minat peserta didik dalam membaca, dan pasifnya peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sehingga kemampuan untuk penahaman peserta didik masih tergolong rendah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment design dengan menggunakan static group comparason design. Penelitian ini dilakukan dikelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara cluster random sampling, dengan 2 sampel kelas yaitu kelas X MIPA 3 (kelas eksperimen) menerapkan model pembelajaran PQ4R dan X MIPA 4 (kelas kontrol) menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Berdasarkan hasil data analisis yang diperoleh hasil hipotesis H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, hasil uji Manova thitung ≤ tabel dengan  = 0,05, diperoleh 0,000 < 0,05 metakognitif dan minat belajar 0,001 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa. 1) Terdapat pengaruh model PQ4R berbantu mind mapping terhadap kemampuan metakognitif siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran Biologi di SMAN 2 Bandar Lampung, 2) Terdapat pengaruh model PQ4R berbantu mind mapping terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran Biologi di SMAN 2 bandar Lampung. Kata Kunci: Model PQ4R, Mind Mapping, Kemampuan Metakognitif, Minat Belajar iii ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the lack of many learning models used in the school environment, this is due to the lack of interest of students in reading, and the passiveness of students in learning so that the ability to understand students is still relatively low. The research method used in this study was a quasi-experimental design using a static group comparison design. This research was conducted in class X MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung using a sampling technique by means of cluster random sampling, with 2 class samples namely class X MIPA 3 (experimental class) applying the PQ4R learning model and X MIPA 4 (control class) applying the Problem learning model Based Learning. Based on the results of data analysis, the results of the hypothesis H0 were rejected and H1 was accepted, the results of the <0.05 metacognitive and learning interest 0.001 <0.05. So it can be concluded that. 1) There is an influence of the mind mapping-assisted PQ4R model on the metacognitive abilities of class X students in Biology subject at SMAN 2 Bandar Lampung, 2) There is an influence of the mind mapping-assisted PQ4R model on the learning interest of class X students in Biology subject at SMAN 2 Bandar Lampung.
